Better idea: highlight all skills gained by TF in a different color.

Yes, please.

On Alianna:
NOD:
"You nod your head emphatically."

On others:

NOD:
"You nod your head."

I swear I'm seeing this all the time and I don't know what the random difference is about. sad.gif

That's SIMPLENOD. I do that all the time.

Only way to get rid of illusory doppelganger is dispelling it? Is there anyway of seeing it besides using detection?

Under what circumstances should I tumble and when should I use stealth evade? Are there any conditions not covered in the previous two where psymet shift would be preferable?

Anyone?

Does anyone have an idea how the admin coined "Inveiglora"?

When was the last time that Narsrim was active? And how much do people actually take the time to talk about him?

I have the following defenses up:

Flex, Geburah and Spiritbond bear...

How come I'm only get +3 strength from that when I should be getting +4?

Except he should be getting +4.

3 from flex. 1 from Geburah. 2 from Bear. Makes for a total of 6 weight points which is +4.
Furien2010-11-13 11:22:32
Bear is 1.

Janalon:

Evade, if it functions like Achaea, is basically what you want to use to slip away without tumbling. You might not be able to do this. It'll be stopped by hindering afflictions, unlike tumble. Like tumble, it'll go around walls and people etc. Unlike tumble, they won't actually see which way you've gone.

Tumble is basically your last-ditch chance of getting away since it'll go off regardless of how many broken limbs/magical curses/esoteric agonies you have afflicted up the wazoo.

I could swear bear used to be two. Ah well. He'll have to toss on a herofete or something. I don't think there are any other strength boosts beyond changing size available to him.

Bear has never been 2.

It was 1, Flex was 2. When weighting went in I pushed for Flex to get buffed up to 3, so that Communes and Cities would each be able to actually use their +1 extra weight (from Bear or Geburah). Commune warriors trying to stack both need something else to actually get the extra point though.
Rivius2010-11-13 19:08:24
Oops. I don't know about stat weights. Thanks guys >,<

Are the messages given by hypochondria the same as those for other afflictions? Or are they slightly different, and therefore detectable?

They are all the same as normal afflictions.

There is one line:

"Unreasoning rage turns the world blood red."

That would indicate hypochondria. To my knowledge, that is the affliction line for berserk, which no longer exists in any IRE game but whose affliction line has been left in the list of hypochondria afflictions.

Is there any way to tell what level of regeneration you have?
Rakor2010-11-14 00:21:53
No, but there should be!

Unless you're impaled. Or in a pit. Or pfifthed.
