Do monocles exist as a trade item besides the Golden Monocle artifact?

Nope, nor any kind of glasses (except as artifacts or the trans Tinkering item).

Oh right, I think I recall you talking about this in the past.

Oh well! I'll have to pursue other foppish notions.

Good sir, I think it is a brilliant suggestion to simply add such a thing into your description.

By Jove, that sounds like a smashing idea! <-- me trying to sound like a British dandy, despite knowing next to nothing about dandies or actual British slang.

You know, I had the very same line thought out as well. Complete with the <--- part.

You will only be able to dodge those attacks which you can see coming, making this ability of limited use against psionic attacks, dreamweavers, and long-ranged attacks where your assailant is not near to you.

This also applies to blindness as well?

Another question on blindness, does parry and stance trigger while blind?

EDIT: Oops, skill is acrobatics.

What skill?

My question: Should psionic attacks be able to be dodged? Since they're not physical attacks and you can't actually see them coming at the time.

They shouldn't be dodgeable, and I swear I remember this being complained about at the implementation. I'm can't recall if it was ever fixed though. They may have not been due to coding problems.

Caerulo: Just stop.

Yeah, forget who it was, might have been Sahmiam or Malarious who dodged my psychic attack.

Is it possible to design a hooded gown ( I think they are the hot ) without having to design a seperate hat and without having to have robes somewhere in the appearance?

I don't see why not. Looking at the pattern, I doubt there would be an issue. You want it as a greatrobes design, no?
Xiel2010-11-17 02:05:36
You can design one, but it won't be protecting your head.

Does anybody have any knowledge on how long one of Tully's Broom cleanings lasts. I notice there are certain areas that resist it. Center of the Necropolis only lasts about a few minutes, but I was curious the average length of a cleaning, and I wonder if it's based on any environmental issues.
Ssaliss2010-11-17 02:23:28
I didn't even know it did anything. What effects does the broom have?

I thought it was some sorta truegrounding thing
Unknown2010-11-17 02:32:50
All it does is add a message line to the area. The broom has the following powers.

You can broomsweep an area--a golden description line is added to the area, saying it is spotless. This is what I was asking about. It stays as part of the rooms full description for a time.

You can broomsweep objects on the ground--it will delete anything that's not flamed or an artifact or otherwise permanent like statues, etc. (It used to allow me to at least try it on people/denziens, but that doesn't work now--I think I tried to broomsweep Maeyla when I met her). One thing I notice is that it can sweep away gold, unlike a nexus. I was told that was "by design".

The only real game effect it has is I can sweep away poison gas clouds/contagion. I never come across that stuff, had to ask a Magnagoran Chef to do that for me.

But then again, what else would the Janitor do?

Aye, thats what I meant by not having to design a hat to go with it...

You might check to see if it's just a matter of timing: it might go away at the same time of the game day, so the duration would depend on when you happened to do it. Lots of other things are like that.

Fixed.

Also, I would like to be a more active Hoaracle-follower, but I just can't think of anything Hoaracle-related that doesn't involve long papers on philosophy or adding to my long to-do list of designs. Does anyone have any suggestions?
