Fusion doesn't give any message, and only affects damage.
Gnosis only affects spiritual afflictions.
Darkened eyes only resists blindness. (didn't have it up)
Hardened belly resists stomach afflictions. (didn't have it up)

Only possibility is fleshwork, which gives chance of resisting skin afflictions, but the fleshwork message was different the last time I saw it, and when I applied liniment and sipped frost, I still cured my burn and ablaze.

Probably a bug that you don't get a DEF line from it, too.

Worst comes to worst, if you have the trading ability in beastmastery they can trade their beast to you, you can administer the wackodoru, they can take it back.

Magical salt raises shields around yourself or a target, and it doesn't use mana, so it can be very useful in certain situations.

Fairly sure it's normal salt that's used in astro, not magical.
