I really hate Fillin's wyrm, though I'm sure there's some IC justification for the fact that walking near it while being on Fillin's enemy list makes your footsteps really loud, right?
I guess if I ever get a pegasus or a unicorn I'll customize it to cast all my enemies in irritating rainbow lights despite no readily apparent light source being nearby. It'd be fabulous.

Thanks for the answers! I knew it was three different things but I had no idea if it was a bug or what.

Wyrms are earth elementals. It seems reasonable that they could have some effect on the acoustics of the ground, what with the ground being made of earth.

Hm, a while ago one of the newsletters mentioned that lusternia.com is getting a makeover. That was really a while ago. I was wondering if it's still happening I guess only the admin could answer this one...
PS Because I also don't want to double-post, what's the easiest astral sphere to bash?

That depends on race and class.
For example, as a Nekotai, I loved doing scorpions (Illithoid) .
As a Shofangi, it was bulls and abhorrences (I was a faeling psymet).
There is an astral creature for every strength and weakness.

Hmm I think I'll stick with doing virgins then. Pretty easy going. Thanks!

I know it's immature and overdone, but I wouldn't be true to myself if I didn't say hur hur hur

I'd probably put lobstrosities as the easiest: no curve balls and none of the sudden-super-high-damage that bulls do.

Mitrans?
Esano2011-01-02 08:17:51
Lobs have more preferable damage types.

But don't Mitrans have an attack that does no damage? That is the best possible damage type: none.
Lobs can also stack insane bleeding, mitrans don't really do that much damage or bleeding.

What exactly does it mean when someone has an astrology sphere positively influencing int/cha/str/dex by X%? Does, say, 5% to charisma mean a 5% bonus? Or +1 weighted? Or some other method of raising the stat?
Also, how exactly do wackodoru work? They remove all trains and trained beastmastery skills from the beast, right? Do I have to feed him the rigorous diet again? Do I have to prepare him with reagents again? Does his appearance change?

Resets all trains to 0 and removes non-inherent skills I believe. You do have to redo the diet/reagent feeding. And Zimoru is used to change a beast appearance, wackodoru is only for trains.
My own question. Have any bookbinders who weren't trans before the changes encountered any problems with learning and not gaining new skills? I did bug it, because I lose Protection and the wiki said it was at 66%, I kept learning, didn't see it, kept learning, because there might have been a mistake, I got to Gifted and I'm stuck at the fourth Language learning option.

Each +/- 5% gives a +/- 1 weighted to the stat.
Edit: I'm wrong, should have checked notes.

Does the homunculus give the same message no matter whether it gives you grey whispers or bad luck? If they are different, does anyone have the lines to share?
Unknown2011-01-02 11:31:11
GreyWhispers:
Badluck:
Bite:
I don't have the first person view saved, but the next time I spar, I'll be sure to try and grab the lines for you. Alternatively, I think Neos can provide them.

His eyes glowing a fiery red, a homunculus resembling a deformed human looks at
Neos, quickly looks away, then looks back at him with a malicious glint in his
eye.

Looks like the caster's name is just replaced with the homunculus, if I'm not mistaken. Thanks!

This maybe has been answered before, but if I just happen upon a piece of origami...is there any way to tell what kind it is?

Oh yes, I had forgotten that I had the targeted-person view of all the Paradigmatics skills, so here they are in case you need them:
GreyWhispers
His eyes glowing a fiery red, Caerulo looks at you, quickly looks away, then looks back at you with a malicious glint in his eye.
BadLuck
His eyes glowing a fearsome yellow, Caerulo stares at you with a burning gaze, and you cannot help but shudder at the intensity of the malice directed towards you.
I really love all the descriptions of the skills in Paradigmatics. It seems strangely appropriate that I never get to see most of the pretty lines as an Illuminati.

No. 5 and 10% is +-1, 15 and 20% is +-2 and 25 and 30 is +3. In non-stat instances, it is a flat out damage modifier. So you take X% more/less fire damage from a volcano sphere and so on.
And I know a ton of other pets have it as a reaction already. I still don't like it as it is a better faeriefire.
