Incidentally, if we have a question about a design, for instance wanting to know what we can do with a powerstone, is it best to message or email the Charites?

I'd message.

Edit: Also, the two cartels I am involved with are not set to submit our designs until a minimum of the 18th of Jan. Will 12 days be enough time? If they are not approved by then is there any way that a design in queue can be submitted?

Which areas are not on the game map hosted on the Lusternia website, and how would I get to them or learn about them, preferably without having to dig through tons of news posts and a lot of guessing? I recall at least one place being added from news posts since I started playing, and been told the map as well as the ingame help files are outdated, so I am curious as to what areas I might not have visited yet since I don't know where they are.

None of my old designs have designedby on them. None of my new ones either, mostly because I'm just not use to using the command. I was told I have to use that for beauty submissions. Well, this is bad. Lunarrose is just...oy sad.gif

The website says that the Trademaster has to message the Charites with the design number and the designer, which would indicate to me that the 'designedby' field is irrelevant.

Oh thank the lords. I was going to all worried. Now I can be happy! wub.gif

Last year, the Charites worked hard to make sure that any of the designs they had messages about got through in time, so I think 12 days should be fine as long as the design doesn't have problems. Most of my submissions make it through the mortal review system in 24 hours or less.

That's not true. As always, some designs go through in hours, some in weeks. It depends on a few factors but by far the most important one is, the more resubmits it has, the longer it takes, because each rejection takes a bunch of reviewers out of the pool who can review the design -- and usually the first rejection takes out the most active reviewers, too. But a design that's perfect on the first try stands a very good chance of going through in hours.

I'm glad that your designs are going through quickly, but I've designs on their first submission that sit around for an IG year without being accepted or rejected. I had a weddingband that sat around for two years after its first rejection before being approved without further revisions. I know the reviewers are busy, but those sorts of delays could kill a beauty entry.

I appreciate everyone that's answered. I'm going to message the charites with my original question since it doesn't look like it's been officially answered yet this year.

I'm a pretty decent TM. In the end, they'll be going through my spell/grammar check like I usually do, which helps a lot. So, I should submit it and as soon as I submit it message the Charites?

Probably. I'm not sure what they are doing this year, but least year the admins posted on forums saying that they were going through their messages of submitted designs and trying to get them processed as fast as possible. I think we've got a good chance of them working hard to make sure this one goes smoothly, like they did for last year.

I didn't say that.

Just a quick double check: aeon, choke and sap all work on the same one second timer, correct?

Pretty sure she's said herself that only videos will be responded to.

Okay then. I'll get cracking on one then! smile.gif

Sometimes I consider doing a video...but 1) I wouldn't know what to ask, and 2) I'd rather spare you all the horror of having to look at me. suspicious.gif

Sap is .5 seconds, I think.

One was already answered (yay Frosticia quest!!...that's never open for doing DX ) and the other wouldn't be able to be answered clearly without being spoilers.
