Are merians just blue, or do they perhaps have a cobalt based form of hemoglobin?

I'm semi-sure that any reference to blood colour (if they're being attacked) always shows it as red, though it's possible the admins have been clever and never referenced blood colour and I'm thinking of something else. If I'm right they're just blue, if I'm not... I'd assume that if they can interbreed with humans they're not going to have something so different as completely different blood.

Humans can breed with -anything- though. Even living mineral formations.

I always saw it as one of those things where most people picked blue because that's what the pic on the website looks like. I understood that merians could be any color, really, and can have defined scales or not. A green or gray wouldn't be odd to me. Same with lucidians. Most people choose blue, but I've seen green, white, purple, and various levels of opacity.

Lucidians are technically clear by default. The colour comes from their emotional glows, yep yep.

I'd not noticed that about TIME before, but yes it's just in a cave (houses look fine - probably we can look out the windows). FLYERS in environment might do the trick though, so thanks for the idea! I'll test some more.
