... You mean warrior hits don't always afflict with venoms? Granted, I've never been in combat, but I always assumed they always did... What are the odds, roughly?

50% 1h, 75% 2h -before- all venom blocking skills and shrugging.

So, all things considered, not that great even with just trans resilience (33% shrugs).

I wonder if this means that the ones I got will be returned to me or not sad.gif

I'd say no...that's probably not tracked anywhere.

I would like to understand how all this demigod stuff works, and I can't find a whole lot on Xiel's website (unless I'm looking in the wrong spot, all I see are the skills). Any help here for resources, or old threads that you can think of?

Any particular stuff? Answering specific questions are always easier than just "how does everything work"... Can't think of any good threads though, and I'm assuming you read HELP DEMIGOD.

I've read HELP DEMIGOD, and HELP ASCENDANTS. Am quite familiar with them. Am also very familiar with the skills.

I'm not so sure about this "weight" thing people speak of.

Ah. It's actually quite simple. Let me demonstrate with an example:
CODE
************************************************************
Name                       Supernumerary Weight Cost                 In Use
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EndowmentOfBrawn           9                    2000000
EndowmentOfThought         9                    2000000
EndowmentOfLife            9                    2000000
EndowmentOfFortitude       9                    2000000
EndowmentOfVanity          9                    2000000              X
Refresh                    6                    1000000
DivineFire                 10                   2500000
CustomZap                  10                   8000000
Seek                       8                    1000000
CustomShout                5                    8000000
ChoiceEnterMessage         2                    400000
ChoiceLookMessage          2                    400000
ChoiceTeleportMessage      2                    400000
SecondTradeskill           12                   70000000
Shrink                     3                    400000               X
Expand                     3                    400000
ChoiceShout                2                    400000
ChoiceZap                  5                    1000000
PlanarQuickening           3                    6000000
*******************************************************************************

As you can see, I've chosen the Endowment of Vanity, which has a weight of 9, and the Shrink power, with a weight of 3. Together they have a weight of 12. As a Demigod, I can have a weight of 50 in total, leaving me with 38 weight left.

EDIT: That was POWERS LIST, of course. If you check POWERS STATUS, you'll see which powers you've chosen and what their total weight is, as well as a reminder of how much weight you can have.

EDIT 2: And just to point out, the weight only affect supernumerary powers. If you choose a power as ephemeral, it doesn't add weight, but it wears off after a while (can't remember exactly, but I think it's an IC year).

Ohhhhhh. I just wasn't sure the total weight you were allowed. Thanks!

Can you add/drop supernumerary powers ever? Or are all those choices permanent?

An entire skillset that is only open to demis/Ascendant who are in an Order and have been made an Avatar by the God, and the God has also decided to spend essence on giving them a cult.

The skill can be viewed here:

Do you need a special skill to bombard during aetherflares? How far into Aethercraft is such a skill? I've also heard there's a focus skill in discipline that help with aetherflares. How far in is that?
Ssaliss2011-01-28 20:02:12
You need Bombard in Aethercraft which is somewhere in the middle. Not sure about the focusing.

In addition: only available to cults and their members, but only the cult leader/avatar/Demi/ascendant can "learn" more in it to get more skills.

I was told that it also depends on how much wounding that part has, and at some point you apply the venom 100% if the wounds are high enough, also before resilience and everything. I think that's at heavy, but I'm not 100% sure on that
