Can you add/drop supernumerary powers ever? Or are all those choices permanent?

But when you drop them you only get the supernumerary weight back -- not any of the essence you invested.

Which skill is the one prior to it? It isn't on the wiki.

Thanks for letting me know; it's up there now.

An entire skillset that is only open to demis/Ascendant who are in an Order and have been made an Avatar by the God, and the God has also decided to spend essence on giving them a cult.

The skill can be viewed here:

Going to bump my random question again, see if anyone has an answer:

How powerful would an attack be that has a relatively standard balance time and attacks with three poisons at once? With a 1/3 shrug rate at trans discipline, I don't see it being overly powerful, but I'd like a second opinion.

A majority of the skillset can be used by any cult member (it was something I'd wanted when we did the design, less exclusion) but they may require multiple cult members (or more than if the Avatar is doing it).

Veneration, as Ixion said, is mostly just roleplay stuff - but I'm quite fond of the skillset myself, and I think every single god is very happy with it. It offers immense levels of customization to make cults unique (unfortunately, individual skillsets for each god wasn't viable, so we went this route instead!).

There's probably ooone more thing coming for cults, though we can certainly consider adding more rites into the skillset at a later point.

Not sure what you're getting at, but Nekotai can hit with 3 poisons in a single form (2 on the nekai and 1 with a modded kick). And that's excluding their own personal poison spitting and beast poison spitting. The trick is that they can only do the 3 poisons in one form twice (once per foot) before they have to "reload". Plus there's a momentum requirement to have enough ka to do the move.

So to answer... it already exists, can be used to good effect, but has some requirements on it (sufficient ka) and can still only be used a couple times before needing to be reloaded (i.e. it can't just be spammed over and over and over in a string of forms).

Is Divinefire worth it? I'm a squishy mage, so I'm thinking yes, but looking for the opinions of people who have used it.
Ixion2011-01-29 04:54:17
If you hunt on prime or in enemy terr, or if people move buggy guards off of a nexus to you, then yes it's worth having.

Or if the person you're following on a raid uses an autowalker and walks you onto the enemy nexus.

How in the world do you fix a shared skillset without making a guild that's already powerful even more powerful?

Welcome to the question every warrior guild in the game has had at one point.

How long does it take to before you can put Vitality up after it is 'used' (surges through your veins)?

By the way, because of the inherent magic of the ink bookbinders use for books, when the author adds to it, every copy will transform to include these additions.

With each city and commune having a copy of the volume, they should periodically check it to see if the Scribe of the Elders has added anything more (assuming there's someone around who's available to read it).

Do these books still exist in each org?
Unknown2011-01-29 18:18:14
Yes. The big problem is that the books are in Divine Script, which only High Level bookbinders can read. Bookbinders need to translate them to common, and since the books are sealed we can't use bookbinding powers to auto-translate.

I'm actually trying to do a translation for the City of Gaudiguch, I'm just running into problems with both Mudlet and Nexus copying the text from some files.

And the new cities don't have those, unfortunately.

All the new stuff was supposed to have been added, but I think there was an announce saying to bug anything that hadn't come over for the libraries.

What stops a sniffed spore from teleporting someone?
Lerad2011-01-30 05:59:15
Stuff that stops magical movement, iirc. Monolith, distortion.

Broken arms also stop you from snorting it in the first place.

As does a broken nose.

You do mean snorted, right? A sniffed spore won't take you anywhere.
