There needs to be a directory at every nexus where you can do DIRECTORY SEARCH SHOP , to search all the shops in the city/forest.

Last time that was proposed, it was suggested that 1000cr to buy a manse shop should carry some advantages, and maybe it's fine as it is, and that's where it was left.

Yep, think it was me who threw up that idea and I can understand why people voiced it should come with advantages. Though a city shop can make good money too. I used to use a certain one because it always had about all the basic needs in stock (healing / bromide vial refills and a cube). It also happened to carry a lot of other things that expire quickly (stuff like pipes, tinderbox, packs). I think for a good city shop it is important to have certain things that will have people check back often, and have a certain niche (your own profession, for example) next to that. So that if people need something from that niche, they will think of you, rather than wander over to the aetherplex. Also, pricing is important, I know I will rather go to the aetherplex and have to type "enter manse" if I can save a good bit of gold rather than just click the mapper and have it take me to a city ship.

what exactly is the formula for the member score on topguilds (if it is known),

also: what are all the things that raise member score?

Does tempering change the mark on a forged item (i.e. if I forge a weapon and have someone with a mallet temper it, does the mark change to theirs)?
