Hallifax and Gaudiguch can get by without another new addition for a long time yet, though that won't stop them from getting bards sometime soon. Monks, on the other hand, are complicated enough with the existing guilds already requiring a 5th report to smooth out its wrinkles which I'm being cynical about considering I doubt any class report will go through without any guild trying to ninja in a buff.

And to sound like a broken record, how about some new love for the old guilds. I think the last time druid guilds got a new toy was when...Dreamweaving first came about.

Edit: Oh dear, some of my bitter leaked. Back to topic! Shoo, shoo.

I agree that druids need some love. Playing one was not very fun back in the day.

Anyone have recommendations for DamageAbsorption tattoos?

I'm thinking splitting between Fire and Cutting.
Unknown2011-04-29 02:06:17
Blunt can be useful for bashing as well.
vorld2011-04-29 04:31:16

Technically untrue - it's been a long time since, but greatshields have been altered awhile ago to enable non-warriors to wield them and thus benefit from the stats. Greatshields have better statistics than normal shields, I believe was told to me.

Seriously, I am running around with a normal shield for all this time while I could have been using a greatshield? Gee, that description needs updating if this is true >_<
Xiel2011-04-29 08:34:22
As far as I know, yes.
Casilu2011-04-30 16:54:59
It is. I always sold greatshields as a forger and they had no problem wielding them. I even have one now.

How do you take back control of a clan that's deeded to your org?

Don't think you can ever undeed it. If you can, you have to get the Steward to do it for you, they are the one in charge of keeping the deeds. The Cl probably could do it also.
Turnus2011-04-30 22:01:23
Stewards can assign you as the leader of the clan, but it will always be deeded to the org. Unless there's some CL command for it, which I doubt. I wouldn't count on getting admin to redo it either.

QUOTE (HELP CLANLEADER)
CLAN DEED TO /NONE
- Must be in the Hall of Clans and Cartels
- Transfers the deed of a clan to an organization

Note the NONE option.

Oh, I was meaning something more along the lines of what Turnus answered, but Thanks!

Except that Turnus is wrong.

The person who owns the manse / clan can 'take it back' at any time using the NONE option. This is something that we have complained about in the past; if, say, Magnagora's steward assigned the Midnight Keep to me I could then steal it. Completely. No way for Magnagora to get it back, as it's now mine (and all the credits invested in it).

There is no command for CLs / Stewards to undeed it. Except the the Steward can transfer it to themself and undeed it which means it's now theirs. tongue.gif

Also, there is no message / note sent to the Steward when something is undeed, either... so there is absolutely no way to tell.

Yes, it makes no bloody sense whatsoever that it works this way but it does. unsure.gif

Wuylinfe is a city leader, and wants a city clan switched over to him. So Turnus was exactly right, the Steward can do it.

No. No he is not.

When I say he is wrong, the bolded is the part I am talking about; it's also something which is very important to note, especially for all Stewards.

Edit: Especially since he is a Steward himself...

Is there any way to clear comments on an approved design?
Shulamit2011-05-01 07:35:58
You should be able to still do design number comment, which should clear it. I think. I've added comments to private designs later on about who they're meant for, but I've never tried a public design.
