Maidens are actually really nice, although the random timers make them hard to utilize. They cure afflictions, grant four defenses, And restore mana, willpower, and I think endurance.

I think all but the last one or two are still available on old.lusternia.com, but if you search through for the Elder books thread here, you can find them too I believe.

As many as it takes to form one. So 2/4/6/8. Never used clots myself, though, I think they're only really useful in groups. So don't quote me on this.

Hm, you sure? I think I've encountered a point in time where I had three bursts and one clot, and the bursts weren't going down at all until I cured the clot.

Don't clots increase the bleeding from the vessels too? I swear they do. Or at least used to...

Why do completed, recorded plays sometimes have 'Setup' status, and unrecorded plays are listed as 'Completed'? A Matter of Convenience here isn't recorded yet, but the last two in this list are.

Clots increase the time it takes to recover from sipping health, although it's a marginal gain at few clots.
They're useful against people who don't cure them (generally under blackout from choke), so what you try is one choke/burst/clot combo, see if they eat yarrow (which is always visible). If they do not, keep on with the clots.

If one uses a suit with a hat in place of robes, does the hat have to be enchanted separately or does it inherit the stats from the suit?
