I know there was a thread about it that Pectus started.

Does the increased speed and charisma from influencing as a shadowsinger faeling outweigh the increased experience for being human?

For leveling? Never. There is a limited supply of creatures, the amount of time you spend on them is irrelevant, so long as you are able to influence CreatureY before CreatureX opens up again.

If you know where to go, you'll pretty much never run out of creatures to influence, even as a shadowsinger faeling with all buffs.

This. Additionally, equilibrium speed gain scales to the outliers, which makes sense, given that to achieve those outliers, many other aspects of gameplay must be sacrificed. However, high charisma is only a component, especially after the influence changes, because their resistance increases after each hit. Many rapid but weak influence attacks will prove far more painful, and likely longer, than hitting hard at a slightly lower charisma due to buffs (oil, performance, beast, tatts, wetfold, prestige, etc). Regardless, however, it's possible to combine the two in a shadowsinger harbinger, and significantly outstrip human experience gain, assuming you know enough of the vast number of effective influencing areas that you won't run out.

So, if I had two staves, both runed with shielding, would that be more effective than one staff with the shielding rune?

I think having two shields cancels out the effect.

You'll have to link it because I cannot find this thread at all.
edit: after copious amounts of time I finally found it (after having to comb through every one of Pectus's posts... search function, you are so broken).

Oh. Now I understand your rage message to me.
It's always best to use Google.

Does anyone know offhand if, after you get married, and you bloodbond someone, the spouse can confirm them? Because Astraea doesn't have any active siblings.

Haven't confirmed him yet, so don't get ahead of yourself. I was told it should work (not by the administration, mind you, but no one ever chimed in and said it wouldn't). If it doesn't then that sucks.
Knorrith2011-06-09 19:07:21
This is probably somewhere but I guess I fail at searching the forums. For the manse stables : Is it just for selling mounts or can you keep your own in there without worrying about selling them? Do you still have to pay stable fees to keep them there? Not sure how all this works but Knorrith has planned to have a stable in his manse before they even came out and I would like to know exactly what it does before shelling out the credits.

Ah, woops. I just remember you asking and then talking about bloodbonding later and so assumed it had worked already. I'll just go pretend I know what I'm talking about somewhere else >.>

Buying your own stable manse means you never pay fees again but not sure about being able to sell out of it... could ISSUE yourself to get the straight forward answer.
