'Fraid not. It could be envoyable if someone has space open! You could have athames in dagger-sized sheathes too!

Wiccans can already do that with athames.

If I buy 6 dingbat tonics, will they all refill with something different each month?

Each one will be random, so they might be all different, though there is a chance they could randomly pick the same thing.

This used to be do-able a very short while ago, then they went through and made it impossible for cudgels and staffs. I think they were afraid people were going SWING CUDGEL, for the terrible accuracy, wounding and damage attack that had a very low chance of even rubbing off poisons, and was far far slower then the rest of our actions, due to negligible speed stats on cudgels.

What does the celestial holy phial do, apart from remove the power cost from Benediction?

A lot of stuff. Gives shielding, you can rub it to cure yourself to a limited degree, when you sip it, you give affs with damage.

You can't even swing them anymore? That's odd. Last I checked I could cut people with my athame, if you spammed it long enough to finally hit.

How does ambermalt and darkmalt work? do you have to get drunk for it to work?
Edit: Does it the drunk effect work only from brewmeisters?

Yup. The more drunk you are the more DMP you get.
vorld2011-07-22 01:31:49
so it's variable?
Edit: tested it at slightly flushed and got 5 dmp

You still can with athames, but for unknown reasons, they changed staff-noun-ed things (which includes cudgels).

It seems to vary between 5 and 50. Brewmeisters and dwarves have the benefit of having more alchohol in them to less effect, so they can be drunker while still functioning. Dwarves also get the same effect as amber beer as a racial, except for a LOT more; I've seen it hit over 200 DMP, although at that point you'll die anyway, you're so drunk.

You forget BREWMEISTER PUKE, good sir. Actually as a dwarf brewmeister, I can sit at "Suicidally intoxicated" (the first level of it) without blacking out/vomiting and only have a fall down occassionally, not to mention springup making that pretty neglibile in effect. About 3/5 actions or so, roughly, get the drunk fumble message, though. Steelgut does stack with Dwarven resistances as well, as a side note.
Amber malt does indeed go from 5-50 at max, depending on drunk level. Though, at 50, you can't really do much, even as a Brewmeister. I think I've maxed out at 220ish DMP or so total when I actively tried to reach the furthest drunken level of SI. Dark malt is a bit more fickle I think. I've gotten it to add about +19% or so at suicidally intoxicated, though I had War seal up at the time and didn't check the actual DMP from it. All in all though, they're both worth using when you need them, though Dracnari/Dwarves and especially Brewmeisters will make the most of them.

Is there any way to get kouseki flowers without advancing the Hallifax hand quest to the second stage?
Razenth2011-07-22 07:05:04
Yeah, on Mt Zoaka. Poke around.
