Are the proofings on splendor robes meant to be 20dmp instead of the normal 10dmp?
Xiel2011-07-23 02:43:28
My splendours only have 10 to each of the four. No idea how you have 20, unless it so happens that having only one proof is a collective 40 dmp and additional proofs distributes that. -ponder-
In which case, I've never heard of that happen before.

Ilyarin2011-07-23 02:44:49
I don't, but I just have a vague recollection that says my understanding was that splendor proofings were twice as effective.
Xiel2011-07-23 02:46:21
Nah, not twice as effective that way. Twice as effective in that you can plop all four resists on them as opposed to having to wear a cloak and coat to get all four proofings.
Also, in regards to that Charisma question, I think there's only one skill in Transmology dependent on your CHA for its damage output, but besides that, I don't know how important it is for that guardian class to have high CHA.

Final question of the night, is there any way to speed up the reviewing of a submitted design? And/or what is the general incubation period before it's approved/rejected?
Xiel2011-07-23 02:54:53
I feel like I've answered that before. It depends on a number of factors, but it can last anywhere between an hour and 2RL months. No way to speed it up until the reviewers go through the design, and if they're conflicted, it'll stay in limbo forever. If it's longer than a couple of weeks, I'd suggest just flagging it nomortalreview.

Does anyone have a full list of probe/examined descriptions for the various trees that druids can summon? I.e. hemlock/birch/etc saplings and any changes as they grow into bigger trees?
Rivius2011-07-23 21:39:53
So fieldplate = fullplate? I was always under the impression that fieldplate was inferior.
Can it be masterarmoured the same way?

Once upon a time, they were two different types of armour. They got melded together, so fieldplate and fullplate are exactly the same in terms of efficacy when worn by a Knight.
Masterarmouring either is what actually makes it 'real' fullplate.
You are wearing:
"field plate5448" a suit of midnight flight field plate
It offers the following defences:
Physical cutting: 96
Physical blunt: 106
It is in perfect condition.
This armour has been forged as Master Armour.

If you didn't get this already, I can message it to you in a bit.

Does Lusternia prefer British or American English spellings? E.g., -ise or -ize for suffix in "utilize"?
Lendren2011-07-24 01:35:17
The proper spelling of "utilize" is "use". But Lusternia prefers British spellings generally.

Yes. I didn't have any other words coming to mind ending in -ise, though.
Thanks.

Why am I seeing more people lately with higher blunt than cutting resistance? Should I be taking the credit? Or have I overlooked how many blunt damage things there are in the game?

I've had this plate for RL years. It was the first thing I got that was above 180 stats, and it was pretty close to balanced, so I kept it. With forging runes it's over 100 cutting, so it all works out.
vorld2011-07-24 02:59:12
what power do avatars get?
Unknown2011-07-24 03:00:55
Does anyone remember how much damage mitigation armour provides? Is it 1% for every 2 stat points, or what?
