Is there an updated link for canceling the Elite package? I need to swap accounts but the link in the help file is a page not found.

http://www.lusternia.com/credits?page=cancel

Page works for me. This assumes you are using a credit card. For Paypal, I think you just cancel the recurring payment on the Paypal site.

As the founding GM of the Sentinels, they always need new people.

However...I'm not quite certain as to what class to choose. Aeromancer scares me off due to the demesnes, as that aspect doesn't really appeal. Between The Sentinels and The Institute, which is in more need of new blood? I've read about warriors being difficult to start off, but that doesn't bother me, and both guilds appeal about the same amount.

Any suggestions are surely appreciated!

Sentinels are generally less represented, yes. As long as you're not put off by the difficulty of starting as a warrior and the high entry cost to warrior combat, that's probably where you'll want to head. The Institute is always happy to see new players too, though.

Completely new to the game here, though I played Achaea many years ago, and I'm by no means new to MU*s in general.

I'd like to join one of the lesser-represented cities in order to try and help out there, which so far has led me towards Hallifax. This fits well since I rather love birds, so Trill is to be the race I'm certain of! =>

Warriors aren't more difficult, they are just a lot more expensive.

Lesson-wise, being a guardian requires a lot of investment (IC or OOC, or a mix of both), equivalent to warrior combat. If you want to go barebone even less, with just a reasonable amount in your tertiary skill and a lot in your primary.
Note: If you want to try warrior combat you don't need to invest hundreds of dollars in artifacts, you just need to put lessons in the right place and fight in your weight class.

And by fight in your weight class, he means duel people in the arena, because that's about the only time you have that luxury.

If you are the trademaster of a cartel which has submitted a public artisan design, but you are currently skillflexed to a different trade, is there any way to see that public design without flexing back?
Xiel2011-07-31 07:45:51
Edit: Oh, wait. it's late and I didn't read that properly. If you submitted it through a cartel you're the TM of, you can see it on DESIGN LIST should it still be pending approval. Afterwards, should it go through, then nope, you can't see it again without flexing back. Should it be rejected, you'll be able to see that still too.

I did mean after approval. Thanks!

After approval if you're the TM you can see it with CARTEL CATALOGUE .
Xiel2011-07-31 14:22:57
Note that the above only applies to private designs bound to the cartel, not public designs.

If you learn, say, the elfen language via bookbinding, then reincarnate into an elfen, do you get an extra language slot back, or do you just know elfen twice?
Shulamit2011-07-31 15:46:45
Back in the beginning...you'd lose both languages if you knew both languages, ie, you'd lose lucidian if you were going to aslari, and you'd lose aslari if you already knew it from bookbinding. I think it's fixed now to give you an empty slot if you were to go from elfen to aslari, and already knew aslari...maybe. It's been a long time. Even if it did mess up, and take away both languages, you can issue or bug yourself and get it fixed, which did work last time I went through that.

I've got lvl 2 wounding and lvl 2 stats on a sword. I want to know which one I should upgrade first to see the largest improvement to my overall wounding. Would an extra 10 precision do me better than an extra 5% wounding?

Has anyone else been feeling as though kirigami is taking away from their critical chances?

It adds to it for sure, I have a crit counter that I ran both before and after and it adds to it. Looks to be about a 1% increase.

Does the amount of lessons in tailoring affect how fast things decay or is it static? And does arts affect it because I can't see that in the skill diagram.
