Didn't even know we ever had an essence competition. What were the prizes? Should have timed it with the greathunt, I know I offered a lot during it.

It was a couple of months ago. Ten credits for the winning demigod or titan, ten credits to the winning level 60-98, and five credits to the winning 1-59. I won the titan/demigod bracket by a large margin, Dramon won the middle bracket, and no one from the low bracket even offered anything, so I didn't bother making an announcement at the end of the contest.

Hm, I like the bracket idea.

I wouldn't think so, as rebounding & psymet biocurrents are not. I would like to know Justices proc rate, & whether it works on all damage-based, PVP attacks or just physical/melee damage.

It has hit me when I've staff sniped.

What is that? Also how much bleeding does a rune of bleeding add?
Ilyssa2011-08-09 18:05:44
It works off the Death Domoth too. biggrin.gif

(To hilarious results.)
Edit: Oops, Justice Karma, missed that. Nevermind me.

I've had Justice proc while the person was on/in another plane/area on a claws/phantoms tick.

Someone shared this with me some while back:

CODE
Some useful information... still no concrete numbers. I issued myself over this to try to find out more about the bleeding runes.

Per the Norns:
The modifier for bleeding is increased by 20% for each bleeding rune on a weapon, but this is halved if the weapon is twohanded.

Until I discover otherwise, I'm interpreting this in the most obvious ways, going under the assumption that if 'bleed modifier' is used in some extremely complicated calculations, telling me that the rune increases this value by 20% would be pointless.

I'm assuming blunt weapons have a 'bleed modifier' of 0% and bladed weapons have some greater-than-0% bleed modifier. Since the runes add bleeding to blunt weapons, I'm also assuming this 20-point increase is a flat addition to the value, making a blunt weapon with a GRoB become a 20% bleed modifier weapon. How the end bleed modifier turns into bleeding damage I can only guess, but my guess would be bleed modifier serves as a factor with some damage value to determine bleeding amount. That is, the more damage you do, the more bleeding you cause.

Nekai, being bladed, will have some sort of natural bleed modifier. What that amount is, I have no idea, but I would work under the assumption that (bleed modifier) x (hp damage dealt) = (bleed amount). Get some test hits in with a non-runed weapon, find some averages, then (bleed amount) / (hp damage dealt) = (bleed modifier). Add .2 to the bleed modifier to determine the bleed modifier after bleeding rune and plug it back in to get a rough idea of your new bleed damage with a bleeding rune. Then ask yourself if that's worth 125cr.

This is a LOT of surmise, conjecture and guesswork. But it's enough for me to decide that I'm going to get two of these for a tahto. Maybe this information will help you decide, as well.

Nekai w/bleeding rune do about 30 bleeding (informally tested). Remember, Nekotai build vessels & haemophilia mainly off kicks & Nightsweat. Not sure if rune will increase bleeding on an Amihai or Nekreve. Get some base numbers & project whether these rune will build bleeding on nekai based attacks as much as you hope.

Edit: you can borrow my nekai if you want to play with numbers.

Got my own thanks tho. Does someone learning from you increase your skill in that skill that they learned?

What is that?

You can record an "outfit" (a collection of clothes, jewelry, and other worn things) and then play it back, concealing whatever you're actually wearing. So you can have your armor/splendours/naked-tattoos and your enchantments/artifacts worn however you need for tactical purposes, and a completely unrelated appearance of what you're wearing for how you want to look. You can have up to ten outfits recorded, but they only last a year, so you have to really have the clothes somewhere to go re-record the outfits once a year.
Ssaliss2011-08-09 20:11:41
What prestige do you have? The prestige of the recorded outfit, or what you're actually wearing?
Lendren2011-08-09 20:26:00
What you're actually wearing, I guess. I'm not sure which would be better for it to do.
Ssaliss2011-08-09 20:28:05
If it recorded the prestige of the clothes you've got recorded, it's much easier to switch between high and low prestige for influencing, for instance.
Zilias2011-08-09 21:12:05
This is possibly the dumbest question I have had to ask I think but.....Why can't I put on pants a shirt etc when I have plate and a greathelm? Shouldn't it just go on under?

I ask because of the prestige thing when influencing.

I imagine it has to do with clothing slots. Same thing that keeps me from wearing pants under my robes!
Ssaliss2011-08-09 21:18:32
Have you tried removing the armor and then trying to wear the clothes?
