Does the amount of lessons you've put into tailoring affect the chance of mending not turning things tawdry or are there other factors involved?

Does paint exist?

Yes. Paint palettes. Portraits and landscapes also exist.

I'm so silly sometimes... Just making sure 'cause someone wants a paint-splattered effect in a design.

You could probably just use tints for that.

Some items will naturally take longer to become tawdy - generally, the smaller it is comm-wise the faster it'll go tawdry, but there's some randomness involved.

That makes sense, the things I mended so far were underwear and boots. I'm such a penny pincher sometimes. Was a bit worried if it would be skill-based, since greatrobes are next on the mending list, so I'd actually have to start saving up for a new set + the proofings since I can't do those yet >_>

Someone please give me a rundown of the things to feed my pony to change his appearance. Thank you in advance!

What is the point of chains and pendants if we have necklaces? I thought at first that maybe pendants could be put on chains, but some of the pendants have a chain in their description.

Pendants are able to have Focus enchanted on them, to get rid of debating afflictions.

The beast feeds cooks can make can help alter your beastie's appearance upon maturity if fed regularly. Depending on the feed, they'll mature one way or another give time, but if you're wanting a specific look, I wouldn't go willy nilly on what I shove into the beastie's feedbag.

Is it possible to direct a production at a stage other than your own city's? For instance if the culture minister of Gaudiguch wanted to invite Lendren to be a guest director and put on a play down there, could he or she give Lendren perms to operate the stage?

Librarians can publish non-citizen books, so I don't see why a Stage Manager in one city can't set up a performance with a non-citizen as the director. I've never tried it though.
Daraius2010-08-05 12:13:24
Follow-up question: Can a non-citizen production be nominated for prestige? If it can, I imagine the prestige bonus would go to the hosting city, not the director's city, but I'll ask anyway: which city gets the bonus if it wins prestige?

If it wins, the:
- writer gets the scholar/literary writer rank upgrade
- Library who entered it gets the bonus

If you buy a post office for your manse, what kind of delivery critter do you get? Is it a generic pigeon? Does it default to your org's mail critter? Can you specify something unique?

Thanks. I am going to try a formula you mentioned in an old thread. Also the pony stasis baby already has a name! She is baby Siam. In honour of her Godfather. haha.

They're doves. I think. Might be pigeons, but I don't think so.

Ah, so it is a generic bird kind of thing though? I wonder if you could pay extra to get something different.
