I kind of doubt it. From the sound of it, it's outside of dmp though.
Qistrel2011-08-23 18:27:02
Then strongfavours are kinda useless for me. Wonder if I can remember how to hunt...
Hiriako2011-08-25 00:11:21
You can. Hiri's getting back into that too, so feel free to snag me in-game if you want. I'm a bit hesitant to go out hunting yet as I don't have my full armor, but I'm willing to give it a shot!

So I was looking at these "manse mines" mentioned around.

1. How much do they cost and where can they be bought?
2. Are they worth it?
3. I understand that the mines can only be harvested by the owner of the manse, but is there a limit to who can work it?
4. How do you work an aethermine?
5. Can you add a manse mine to a manse that you don't own yourself?
6. Who owns a manse that has been deeded to a city?

1. 50db for one room, in the Starhopper.
2. Depends on how bad you need commodities and/or how much you enjoy having your own source. You probably will never earn more comms than the gold value of the dingbats, so if that's the only factor for you, no.
3. No, anyone can work it.
4. UPKEEP , once per game day, up to ten game days per game month.
5. No.
6. Deeding is separate from ownership; a manse still always has an owner, a deed just lets the city change the owner at will.

Assuming high value commodities, upkeeping as much as you can and only getting 1 commodity from each upkeep, it'll pay for itself in about 500 days.

Personally, I'd say they're worth it for bound dingbats. Not something I'd buy dingbats to acquire myself though.

From a full 10 upkeeps, I've seen anywhere from 11 to 26 or so comms. It seems that certain commodities will consistently be more likely to have small 'tic's, but that may just be bad luck on my part.

It's a random 1-3 commodities per upkeep.

Does anyone know at what levels the dmp from resilience gets added? I'm at expert right now, and I have two to cutting and blunt, and one to poison.

I'd wager it's based on the number of lessons you've got learned in the skill.

Iirc, 12 cutting/blunt dmp, approx. 1700 lessons to trans -> 1700 / 12 lessons for each cutting/blunt damage, approx.

Wondering if anyone can give the line for when one shakes a box with a rune of contained dimensional instability on it? I'd like to see what it looks like before I design my box for said rune.

Thanks!

As you put a bit of cloud essence into a small black box, it disappears.

You shake a small black box and a bit of cloud essence falls into your hands.

What a plain message for something dimensionally instable
Unknown2011-08-28 18:40:19
Just because it lacks stability doesn't mean it can't be demure.

There's demure, then there's utterly flavorless. But to be honest, I prefer this to some of the other dingbat item reactions.

It seems you were right, learning six more put me at 3 dmp. So it's one every 143 lessons, apparently.

o Chandeliers will no longer have the power to reveal dreamweavers to
the entire world.

Wasn't that one of the main purposes of a chandelier in the first place?
Shulamit2011-08-29 22:05:45
Maybe it was showing dreamweavers everywhere, now it just shows the dreamweaver to the people in the room the chandelier is in?
