I'll have to aetherhunt soon to see how the xp goes now. But until then, does anyone have numbers? Most of my aetherhunts dwindle after a couple of hours due to people running out of will and a lack of available replacement crew. This means three hours spent for two hours of aetherhunting, when you count the recruitment/gathering phase plus dust selling afterwards. Would I be better off spending those three hours solo grinding, if essence gain were my primary concern?

100% esteem is worth 65536 essence, exactly. It's 2^16, or a short integer worth of essence. Offering enough 20% karma worth of corpses should, in theory, be worth about 13100 essence, but it's nowhere near as exact.

Not true. 100% esteem is 20% karma.

Pretty sure corpses and esteem are around the same, that is the karma:essence value ratio.

Latest 65535 I offered and earliest new number. All the rest after that are that same number. I thought maybe it was suddenly affected by order rank and Nariah is probably higher up in Fain's than I am in Lisaera's, but I checked the offerings of others after 8/10 and they're all 66845, even the Order Head's.

66845 is 2% more. 70777 is 8% more. I'm guessing other orders might have 68156 (4% more), 69467 (6% more) and/or 72088 (10% more) per fully imbued item. Seeing how Lisaera's Order and Fain's Order have different numbers, I doubt it's a change to how much essence is given from esteem. I'd also bet that offering corpses gives the same increase.

Exactly what the reason is for these changes is anybody's guess. Personally I'm going for either the rank of the God (I'm guessing Gods have ranks here as well, I know they do in Achaea) or the number of people in their Orders.
