Remember how aetherhunt xp was just nerfed? Its now back to just under how it was a week ago.

Ah, Lusternia: The Walmart of Muds. Roll back the xp 50% and then raise it back up 25% for the weekend. ~Look! Now higher XP!"

Well, imagine how it would have been without the nerf and double XP weekend!

beldoria should run off to hallifax, seduce pesukaru out of celest, and start the Crystalfur family. (name open for change)

She most probably be stuck in the city all the time.. Magnagora is scary. And she promised she wouldn't leave this time.

So, what actually happened to Prime Ackleberry? You can still see the forest from the road, but is it like Halli and Gaudi used to be, with a bubble around it? Would you walk in and the trees would still be there, but the commune proper wouldn't be? Would you walk in and find yourself mysteriously walking back the way you came?

You find yourself walking in about half-way before mysteriously starting to walk back out.

Judging by one of the dreams, my guess is it's a "normal" forest, with little furry animals going hippity hoppity. But near the center, there is a giant crater where the commune proper used to be, as well as the nexus of power. I got the impression that the commune proper and the citizens yanked themselves out of our dimension, but the forest itself is still there.
Ileein2010-08-27 23:39:56
Yeah, it's the dream that made me wonder, specifically whether it was literal or metaphysical.

People who meet the following conditions may enter your fulcrux:
is Great Chieftain Everiine Silverwolf, Centaur Brother
OR
is
OR
is rank 2 in the Serenguard guild
OR
is not a member of the Grand Duchy of New Celest
OR
is not a member of the Free Commonwealth of Gaudiguch
OR
is not a member of the Territories of Hallifax
OR
is not a member of the Free Alliance of Glomdoring
OR
is not a member of the Grand Dominion of Magnagora

Now, why can members of Hallifax get in the manse? And would I have to do to only allow certain people plus the Serenguard in?
Ileein2010-08-29 04:17:53
Because they fit at least one of those criteria, which is what the OR operator requires. That is, a hallifaxian is not a Magnagoran, and thus can enter. You're going to want to replace all of those "NOT MEMBER OF HALLIFAX" with "EXCEPT MEMBER OF HALLIFAX." That way, you're setting up a list of people who -can- enter your manse (people who fit any of the criteria through Rank 2 Serenguard) and then setting up a list of people who -cannot- enter your manse, even if they fit one of the other criteria (Hallifax, Magnagora, etc).

Thanks-- I hate working with perms.
Esano2010-08-29 05:06:05
Not really necessary anyway. The perms list acts as a whitelist. No-one not on the list can enter. You don't need the EXCEPT MEMBER OF HALLIFAX and such, because presumably you're not letting them in through any of the other permissions. You can have it, it just won't ever actually do anything.

I saw what you did there.
Xavius2010-08-29 08:57:59
Or, to summarize, perms "or" is inclusive: everyone is either not Gaudi or not Halli. Gaudis are not Halli. Hallis are not Gaudis. Everyone else is both not Gaudi and not Halli, and gets in twice over. When you have two or more "or not," you're probably letting everyone in. Perms "except" is exclusive. It doesn't whitelist anybody. It only blacklists.

I'm not quite sure what you're aiming at there. Are you trying to only let in GR2+ Serenguard who might also be foreigners, or only let in GR2+ Serenguard with a safeguard to make sure your non-Seren Serenguard don't get in? It seems like you could save yourself a lot of grief by having it limited to Serenwilde or GR2+ Serenguard.

I'm sure it has been asked in this thread but how do you find out again which herb currently functions as sparkleberry? And what determines which herb it currently is?

The Nature Crown/Nature Major Domoth Blessing determines what it is.

You can go to the Seal of Knowledge and TOUCH it to see the current status of Domoths - or you can ask a local demithing to check for you.

It's just supposed to be GR2 Serenguard or higher, plus any other specific people I choose to allow. The "nots" were added for extra security. Blew that one.

Looks like it is coltsfoot. Thanks a bunch.

And this sparked a new question, is there a list anywhere of effect the domoth things give? I can see some of them under defs since Esano holds them, but that's it. Help files not being helpful either.
