Fairly sure the passive gain is broken. Look at Rikenfriez's feelings: it hasn't revolted for several months, but Magnagora doesn't even have a +1.
well if I look at dairuchi it is still neutral to glom so I suppose it possible passive gain only effects villages you own. I have seen glom attacking villages so I suppose they are seeing if that part is broken/to hard to bother with.
But my point was really it is near impossible to gain better feelings in villages if those are owned by enemies.

I think it's perfectly fair to claim a -2 village in 30 minutes or less with no opposition, myself.
And good lord, the iron fist of conquest has cost glom so much xp, it better be worth the hassle, or else no one will bother doing it. I mean you already have home field advantage, permanent distort (which really should change), and guards, what more could you want.

Ascendants/demigods are pretty crappy essence, unfortunately.

Passive gain is definitely working - Glomdoring has already gained favour in Ixthiaxa.
And the village will be revolting normally from now on (woops)
Magnagora is about halfway to +1.

I was referring to passive gain in others' villages.
And if it's so little in those villages, it really needs to be increased. Basically, if you held all villages bar one (assuming a linear progression), you wouldn't even get +1 before it revolted again.

According to the help file, Conquest's passive gain is based on how many villages you have.
Apparently 1-2 villages is not much of a conquest government.
Edit: That's not to say the gain is really high if you have lots of villages, either. It is still very slim, but not quite the same snail's pace.

Is Dreamweaving still having issues with the weaver not hearing or seeing what's going on while in dreamform?

Yes, along with many other issues.
Aerotan2010-09-01 04:57:06
Not when I last checked. I was listening to defenders in Stewartsville today in dreamform.
Everiine2010-09-01 05:10:29
The bugs come and go, which is what makes them so hard to reproduce and pin down. Sometimes things work like they are supposed to, and other times, BAM, total chaos.
Lawliet2010-09-01 09:03:33
So far as I've been told it's because the system has to register the person as at two places at once (which it hates) so occasionally it'll get confused and tell you to gtfo, so unless there's some sort of drastic we-write of dreamweaving the problems with probably always persist.
Which sounds like a reasonable problem, but then why put dreamweaving in in the first place?

Shouldn't the Lovers tarot prevent a soulless insta from going through?
Unknown2010-09-01 12:59:47
Once the Soulless is thrown, it has nothing to do with the person who threw it.

...Not even if the person who threw it is put to sleep?
Unknown2010-09-01 13:17:39
AFAIK, no.
Shiri2010-09-01 13:23:19
Punting them out of the room or pookaing them to cancel their own actions does the trick though.
Furien2010-09-01 15:37:13
So conquest basically adds further force to the Winning Org Momentum?
Harsh.
Harsh.

GG (Griefer Government).
Lendren2010-09-01 15:45:18
Almost everything does (one of the few big flaws in Lusternia's design, way too much positive reinforcement and almost no negative reinforcement); but I don't think conquest does so more than anything else, perhaps less.
