But in regards to what? Spending your money frivolously, alcohol poisoning, etc etc?
Gaudiguch needs a second God(possibly involving Chaos) if I'm going to main there.

In regards to whatever floats your boat.

I have a sneaking suspicion Kalikai will become the Viravain of Gaudiguch. A silent testament falling into the background. A demented warrior god similar to Morgfyre would be a comfortable fit.

I had a dream where I was the Illuminati GM and for the sake of interesting RP, spice and pizazz I made Raezon the guild patron.

And then I realized: I could never do this, because we have Order ((redacted to avoid summoning Eventru)). He'd be pretty cool for the more extreme, darker sides of Illuminati secret-keeping.

(We probably can't do it anyways since he isn't in Gaudi, plus Kali would murder EVERYTHING when she found out.)

This is true. But you can't have Raezon, he's mine.

I think a god that espouses the ideals of freedom/free will and the right for all living things to forge their own destiny would embellish on the status quo of Gaudiguch. His weak trait could be indecisive behavior.

Uhm, that's basically what Kalikai is.

overreaction due to probably not understanding the skill like most other melders that see it the first time

that message is one of the most misleading ones in game tongue.gif
Shiri2010-07-18 10:25:38
In response to the "w" in that "wtf", the answer is that you couldn't break the meld due to being in the wrong place or terrain or something, but the message defaults to the "ascendant is increasing your eq time on breaking" so it looks like it's their fault and there's nothing you can do about it. It isn't and there is. Move to the correct room for breaking and it'll work as normal, but with a slower recovery.
Neos2010-07-18 10:28:55
There are honestly so many ways I could respond to you Furien, but honestly my arguments probably wouldn't phase you so I'm gonna ignore you and just find some way to calm down, because if I don't I may get myself banned or something.

Edit: Wrote this while Shiri was posting.
I'm not sure how to respond without raging. So meh for now.
Furien2010-07-18 10:56:44
Take a break from the game, just for a day. Go outside (preferably sunny) and read some old, favorite book. For the entire day, if you can help it.

Go to sleep. Sleep well.

Wake up in the morning. Get ready to kick ass.

(Repeat as necessary for raid-related rage)

*PEER!!!*

Ahem. Yes, you can only have patrons of the same organization.

One of the best things ever in Achaea was when Sartan was made Patron of the Paladins.

I'm so glad we can't have anything interesting like that happen here! Whew! tongue.gif

Anyone who thinks that all Kalikai advocates is physical excess should probably take a second look at her help file and her choice of higher-ups.

Yeah, though I'll admit it was a common mistake back in the day.

Two questions now:

1. If you have more lessons in Influence, would that directly make you better at influencing?

2. Are village revolts completely random, or is there a pattern to when they occur?

1: I don't believe so, though there are skills you learn which make you better.

2. There's a pattern, it's somewhat predictable though there are minor variables like org government types.

Regarding Kalikai, she's great in a lot of ways- her position is a tough one though, since Gaudi has that whole dichotomy thing going on, and it would have been extremely hard for her to fulfill both aspects well and appropriately.

She also had a tough go of it, because the "stoner" Gaudiguch theme that innundated it early on was doomed to be reviled. It would be nice to see a second Gaudi patron, however, if only so that they can fill the two major niches of gaudi, and we can stop pulling Kalikai in six directions at once.
