Hrm. Is that a typo in the second one where is says "The circles passes" through?
Ilyssa2010-10-04 23:19:55
It looks gramatically correct to me.
Unknown2010-10-04 23:28:29
No, "circles passes" is in error.

Huff. I know I'm asking too many question but here goes!
1) What sort of conditions can prevent someone from tumbling or somersaulting out of a room?

I don't have the answer for you, but there's no such thing as asking too many questions in a thread dedicated to asking questions.

Which is faster: a ship with a wheel diamonut and farhorizon on, or a ship with an antenna diamonut and farhorizon off?
And which one has a wider sight range?
And does the cloaking module prevent aether creatures from targeting the ship?

No idea on the first question and a half, but having the cloak on or off has no bearing on aethercritters whatsoever, as far as I can tell. It only affects Ship vs. Ship combat.

Depends. Do you want to stop a tumble in progress or stop one before it happens?

before it happens
Also, I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this: But I've been considering doing the Tosha quest as a sort of rite of passage for my character. I'm just at lvl. 60 right about now. Is this quest manageable at that level? If it helps, I have in the ballpark of 3500 health.
Also, once you've finished the initial hunting bit, do you have to do it again if you failed?
Xiel2010-10-06 07:10:39
Off the top of my head, a number of things stop a tumble from being initiated as opposed to stopping a tumble already in progress. Amputated limbs, pinlegs, crucifies, offbalances and whatnot are popular.
My own question though: is it a bug if a place isn't mapped yet through the IC mapper even if it's been awhile? Do I bug it or typo?

I wasn't able to do it alone until level 80, but that was as a lobo aeromancer. The pits are a maze of exits, and there's some big scary stuff down there. You'd have to get pretty lucky. And yes, you have to do it all over again if you get killed. Found that out many times.

Sounds good. Someone told me you could somersault out of pinleg and crucify though. Is this true? I remember I got into a raid and got someone and never saw them writhe out of it yet they left the room.

Anyone knows how much XP bonus do the Human racial bonus, harmony domoth minor blessing, harmony seal blessing and Autumn defense give?

I know the Harmony seal gives +10% XP. I'd assume the rest are about the same.

This one may be a stupid question, but I'm totally new to the game so I have no clue. Heck, I can't even survive a simple bashing expedition.
What happened to me? I was standing by Cecilia during the Stewartsville revolt since all I'm capable of doing at this point is letting other people know when denizens are ready to be influenced again. All of a sudden someone comes in and starts debating me down to zero ego and someone else makes my head explode, killing me instantly.

Telepaths have the ability to kill anyone who is under 50% ego. So if you were at 0 ego from the debate, you would be vulnerable to it. And since it is a revolt, people are free to kill you just because they can, and likely because you're the only one they can kill.
Unknown2010-10-06 17:44:21
If you want to influence a village without all the in-your-face combat, look for villages that call down the spell of Eroee (peace).
Phandalyn2010-10-06 17:44:36
Thanks. And I knew I could be killed, that doesn't bother me. Although IC my character swore vengeance. Just curious what killed me since I had no idea I was even in danger.
Gleip2010-10-06 17:46:44
Delport and Estelbar are always peaced. Acknor and Angkrag are always "rawr combat".

The head exploding thing could also have been a bard giving egovice, and the debate draining the ego enough to also cause damage, which causes an exploding head.
