Yeah, but since (s)he didn't notice a fall in health, it is most likely telepathy. Similar to Egovice though, there is Manabarbs, which deals damage when your mana falls.

Sounds good. Someone told me you could somersault out of pinleg and crucify though. Is this true? I remember I got into a raid and got someone and never saw them writhe out of it yet they left the room.

What stops tumble stops somersault and roll as well. The latter two are just faster versions of the former. You probably either got them when they already initiated the escape (in which case, very few things would stop them), or they were shrouded and you didn't see it (though I think you see when people writhe out of pinlegs - but, since I'm no warrior nor have ever played one, I can't say that with 100% positivity).

The Pool of Stars.
This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. The stars twinkle in
the clear night sky. An enormously wide circular pool, as dark as the night sky
, glitters softly between the columns. His form suffused with soft light, the Ke
eper of the Pool of Stars stands here attentively. There are 22 Kusalas of the T
ahtetso here.

Does anyone know how to fix my prompt so words don't get cut off? I already set my wrapwidth to 0.

Set your client wrapwidth higher?
Ssaliss2010-10-06 23:43:44
Yeah, that definitely looks like a client problem to me. The Lusty screenwidth wouldn't cut words off in half.
Dynami2010-10-06 23:46:33
Oops! Looks like I had "wrap output" disabled!
Ileein2010-10-07 01:20:27
MUSHclient? I do the same thing all the time. The button is right next to the file menu and the new world button and the 'switch to world 1 (Lusternia in my case)' button! Bad layout engineering!

Barely any better is accidentally hitting the shortcut to activate auto says. sad.gif

My own question though: is it a bug if a place isn't mapped yet through the IC mapper even if it's been awhile? Do I bug it or typo?

Does every guild have an envoy? How does someone find out who it is?
Unknown2010-10-07 06:30:46
HELP

Look for the Guild Envoy
Xiel2010-10-07 06:31:03
Yes. They're listed in their respective guild's HELP file.
Unknown2010-10-07 07:38:59
Xiel should apply to become a mortal mapper, obviously.
Lendren2010-10-07 12:17:47
You can only earn the dingbats from the Wayfaire once, I assume. That isn't reset when the Wayfaire leaves and comes back, is it?

Every time it comes back to the Basin you can get a new set of dingbats.

Not sure I would call it a bug as such, but if you want to report it, BUG probably makes more sense.
Unknown2010-10-07 15:14:53
What do the dingbat items in the Wayfaire do? What innate abilities do the chimaera and hippogriff have?
Aerotan2010-10-07 16:07:38
Hippogriff has Mount, Fly, and Gust native.

I can't remember what specific vial the Wayfaire sells, but bouncing vials return to your inventory if dropped, rainbow vials spew multicoloured liquid at someone you POINT it at.

The Fate Deck is explained in HELP FATE. Most of the rest of it is in HELP DINGBATS.
Unknown2010-10-07 16:29:47
Hrm, these:
a vial of tumbling water
a vial of shifting earth
a vial of shimmering flame
a vial of rising wind
a glowing bottle
a pair of ivory dice
aren't in the help file though.
Aerotan2010-10-07 16:34:41
Glowing Bottle is Spin the Bottle, Ivory dice let you play craps. I'm not sure what the other four are.
Eamon2010-10-07 16:41:34
Does the Wayfaire quest remember your progress (like the waystation chef one), or do you have to do it all in one go?
