So...I played with some Lusty folk last night. It did not go over too well. Too bad I don't have the chat log. Sylphas: Lorina, what are you doing? Lorina, don't buy that. Lorina, use that skill...Lorina, why did you go that way? Lorina, don't push.

It sounds a lot harsher as text then it would over vent, which is why I hate playing without everyone on voice. Talkan, this means you.

Part of playing league is learning the hard way. Either you get jerks who scream and cuss at you the entire game or you get people who understand you're new and try their best to offer good advice. Sadly the advice can be taken as being bossy. But I learned the former way which was quite unpleasant.

And you weren't playing badly, but as Sona you really need to know what's going on, when to push, when to harass, where to go, etc. The character herself isn't that hard, but the situational awareness needs to be there, or you'll get ganked or focused in a team fight, or just not be where people need your buffs the most.

Also, someone gets like that in every game, even when we're all experienced and doing well. Someone will call out a tower to destroy, or a lane to gank, or just scream at people to get the hell out. Sometimes it's me, sometimes it's Wuylinfe, sometimes it's Aliod. It's really easy to ignore things and tunnel vision and lose, otherwise.

EDIT: And if you'd been someone I don't actually play, I'd have just shut my mouth because really I have no clue how to play someone like Nasus, I've never done it. Sona's in my tier of "should make it my main, but there are too many shinies to choose just one." Sorry if I came off as an asshole.

Just a little side note to add to Sona and her new awesomeness:
Keep track of which spells you cast. Now that her power chord ability has different effects, you can do a lot more in team fights. Try to hit the other team's carry with the damage debuff and they will become pretty useless...

Feel free to share my vent info if you guys want, or PM me for it. It's funtimes! Especially when I can manage to get like a dozen Lusternians, even if it's not for LoLs.

I heard they were buffing minions... did that have much of an effect on early game pushing? Also, the tower damage decrease in return for armor pen probably meant that towers kill minions slower? Since they have no armor to penetrate early game.

All of my early games being the same with no real pushing was a factor in my quiting LoL a month or two ago.

Fairly sure they renerfed it partly after the original buff.

They buffed armor pent cause you could stack pretty hard and just troll tower dive all day. Early games are all about harassment and farming, just give it like 8 8 minutes for the ganks to start, in low elo anyway, higher elo's harass and farm the day away.

I don't scream at people...
