Odd, the last couple games I played everybody was a ranged dps carry and I got stuck tanking.

There was a period where 'tanky carries' dominated (and the ranged ones tend to be too squishy), and I think Riot's trying to reverse that trend, but that was about when I started having problems with LoL so...

There are just easier to play AD/DPS carries that are melee than that are ranged. I feel compelled to play a Caitlyn game now, but I know that no one will be willing to tank, so I'll most likely play Jarvan or Shen.

Only if it screws the team. One is fine. Five is not.

5 squishies sometimes works, assuming all 5 are competent and arranged. Soloqueue though... yeah :/ Worst part is when you get autoattackers that fail terribly at last-hitting.

Update on this:
Our team had an Ashe and a Twitch. I Shen'd it up and went 4/11/24.


Or they must auto-attack everything when they're not pushing/being pushed.

Someone play with me, solo queues suck nuts.

Caitlyn is, by far, my favorite ranged dps character. Her range is just crazy and her Q ability is a pretty strong nuke early-mid game. Also, as the cherry on top, I can crit for about 1000+ damage if I get my basic build(4 items with boots).

Sadly I don't play tanks much anymore. Reason being that if you solo queue as a tank you're essentially praying to god that your carries can actually carry. Also the fact is that EVERYTHING IS YOUR FAULT when you tank for the team when you're solo queuing.

Leona is a pretty interesting tank to play as. Whenever I am below 1/4th health as a tank, I will kind step outside the fight for a moment. But, with Leona, I just use her shield(W ability) and charge in further. I think I went above 300 physical armor and 200 magic armor with her W on...

I've been killing a lot of people with Leona. She stings more than you'd think, and she can definitely take a beating. I've been building Shuralya's, and the philosopher's stone makes laning really fun. I <3 her ult.

I have that much armor and MR when I tank anyway.

Side note: Loving Cassiopeia. Out-midding Karthus, Xin, Annie, LeBlanc...

Get some spellvamp on her if you aren't already. You'll can lane forever that way.

I would just like to thank you for suggesting this. I followed your advice and I have yet to lose a game as Cassiopeia.
