No. Though we are absolutely 110% willing to look at adding additional stuff once we get everything in. One great thing about it is we can add more options in the future without unbalancing demigods/ascendants in the every day scenarios. Though there is the potential for them to spend a lot of time and prepare to be crazy.

All I'll say re: divinefire is that a lot of concerns were probably addressed regarding the overall 'craziness' of demigods, so let's see how it plays out before we look at adjusting things further.

Your skin thickens and increases its resistance to slashing.


That kinda thing, you get turned into a "base" of your race or a new race, and then you spend essence to customize it for look and feel and all. With caps of course.. no lvl 3 resist all and such, the exact limits would take time to figure out.. like maybe every stat is worth X and you have a cap of Y for the whole shebang.

Allowing the Illuminati to be unique is overrated. Give demigods the ability to do several of the exact same things.

This seems to do exactly the opposite of what the changes are intended to do... this seems to make them even MORE powerful and unstoppable. Customize your own race with extra stats and boosts (albeit limited) just the way you want them to eliminate weaknesses? I sincerely hope not.

It was discussed some months back along with the whole "limiting vernal ascendants" thing (whatever became of that, by the way? Will Glom still get a massive power-debt?), so it's been in the works for a while. I'm assuming they needed to turn all the powers off in order to rewrite them to suit the new system, so it's perhaps not next week, but most likely within a foreseeable future.

I am enamored with the idea of having leeway to customize your abilities.

Guards are only taken out of the conquest pool if you actually have a conquest government. I think the same applies to nexus powers... Still, would be neat if ascendant upkeep was, if only to get something to do with the remaining pool.

No. Conquest power pool is for discretionary powers and guards only - you cannot use it towards an Ascendant, so obviously wouldn't towards an ascendant debt.

I believe Estarra's already said how it's going to go.

Orgs will be given the opportunity to strip any ascendants they want to. After a set period of time (probably like a week, I believe), any remaining ascendants will be calculated towards a 'debt' (what would have been the cost to raise them under the new system), and then there will be a daily decrement (real life day) until the debt is made up.

This is so epic, I can't go to bed now because I'm on an adrenaline rush. I hope everything else kicks in within the next couple of weeks.
