So I've heard about the two new guilds that came into Lusternia and thought I'd try them out. If you recognise my name, you might have heard/seen/lamented the existence of me from Achaea. There, I'm an artied out reject of society! In other words, I'm considered an annoyance there. ANYHOO, I'm wondering what class/race combo here would be great to bash/rp/killotherpeople/startout with and what race combination between the two new guilds would be good for such things as well?

Thanks for the help/hateful comments in advance!

EDIT: I would like to point out that I am no longer able to actually buy credits(I done got broke). So any helpful tips on gaining lessons/credits within the game would be great, too!

Monks are usually considered the "easiest" to PK with (any of them, really), but if you'd like to stick to the new cities, Aeromancers are much better than Pyromancers, Templars are better than Sentinels, and the two guardian guilds are roughly equal. Our envoys (classleads where you're from) work on a much quicker cycle than you're probably used to, so I wouldn't pick based on that.

Stats do what you'd expect them to, basically. Mages, guardians, and bards are caster classes. Monks and warriors are melee classes. Constitution is good for everyone. If you understand Achaean races, you'll understand Lusternian ones. Generally, tankiness is preferred over speed.

Pick an archetype

Just dive right on in

Hey brah.

You still have the character you made the first time I made you play. Just move it around, it's still a nublet and there's nothing forcing you to stay where it is, rather than have to make a new character all over again. tongue.gif

Young man who wants to become the greatest there ever was, also seeking a father figure
Hallifax(???)
I don't know how to dive. I always hit my head on the wall of the pool.

I like them too, even though Ethelon (and Malarious. And Sahmiam. And Vaun. Well, all the Ninjakari in general) continues to scare the crap out of me. In my opinion, they're much more interesting to play than other IRE monks. I'm not chasing BBT or MIND RADIANCE for the insta... it's Gatirak'sho instead! tongue.gif

In Lusternia, an archetype is not necessarily a trope such as the one you mentioned, but instead the word for "class." Druids, mages, knights, monks, and so forth are all different archetypes.

If they're registered to the same e-mail address, or you register a character to said e-mail address, you can use the CHARACTERS verb to see a list of them.

Nifty, huh.

Pick a new character name, lovable reject. You'll enjoy the fresh start.

But Daeki is easy to remember when I'm high. sad.gif

Turns out I already have a character I forgot about; it has 1700 or so credits and 4.3k lessons... So, yeah! It's also a newbie, so I can leave my guild without any real conflict to go around with anyone.

Become a Sentinel. Pester Aloysha ingame to let you in/be a father figure and whatnot. You too can be part of the Time Police.

Fixed. We have a Politburo.
