I went over the last few pages and I might have been mixing you up with someone else, however I had a feeling and your power/character seems like it could fit one of the scum.

I'm waiting to hear from everyone else and their thoughts, but for now I'm following my gut (so Othero wasn't scum after all!)

I have two powers. One has an equal chance of protecting me or roleblocking me, and one removes a vote from someone. Which of those is scummy?

My thinking was that things are always slow on Day One, and that I'd melt into the background rather than risk making myself a target. After all, the chances of getting a scum down on D1 are slim to none, and the chances of being train'd into the ground by appearing slightly suspicious are high.

I'm going to go ahead and vote Shou for the moment. Fingering (ho-ho!) Shaddus for extremely shaky reasons and then immediately backing down is pretty suspect.

Well, I'm gonna Vote Jack too. Just to get him talking. Having 6 out of 205 posts is kind of silly. If he starts participating, I'll be voting for Saran next (cause 5 out of 205 is even sillier), for the same reason. My scum-dar is way off so far (I'm rusty, I guess) and I feel responsible for Othero, so I'm gonna stick with prodding votes unless someone does something really odd.

Heheh okay, nice OMGUS move. In a game with very few scum tells and most people not talking, you have to work with few clues and your own feeling. BTW Jack I didn't back down on what I think about Shaddus' role.

Taking away someone's vote seems like it could be useful for scum... and toads are slimy.

I don't think it's scummy in the least to do a bit of lurking on Day One, for the record. Personally, if you wanna get someone talking, I'd ask the mod to poke them rather than lean on them with votes. Some people have real life issues like computer troubles that can mess them up.

Well, I try to be careful to pull my vote if too many pile up and it looks like an accidental lynch is in the offing. But, in other games I've played, a prodding vote has always been pretty effective in getting folks to at least join in a bit.

Mostly, I'm not sure who to vote for now.

As i understand it, my power doesnt take away your vote, its like the opposite of a doublevote.

That's what I was talking about, it seemed like you fingered Shaddus and then wilted when confronted about why. I'll unvote you for the time being (on the basis that, y'know, I'm probably being as antsy/paranoid as I feared everyone else of being). Also it's like half five and I was gonna go to bed an hour ago, so... no voting me into the ground while I'm asleep, hoors!

I am more interested in going through other peoples posts to look at the content within them.

I would probably work on some numbers in a little bit but from my impressions I think Aysidra seems to have quite a few posts regarding the rules and mechanics of this game. Also, we must consider you. It looks like you currently have double the average number of posts(ignoring siam and Kiradawea) it would be interesting to see how your posts up to this point break down. There are some scum who try to avoid suspicion due to low post counts by posting a lot which sometimes can lead to this.

So when I have a moment I will go through the posts and see if they seem valuable or more likely simply padding your post count.
