Hrm. So Noola's navigator's identity is hidden. Going to probe around for lore information, but this is highly suspicious.

Diamondais has gone link-dead. A distress signal has been sent to re-establish contact with the Navigator. (Thanks for the heads up)

Synl's link is flickering. His Navigator needs to pay more attention, or Synl will go link-dead.

So I'm out? As I said I saw no reason to use my chips and nothing to post about and I'd been unable to get onto a computer for the past three days. If I'm out, okay, but just to clarify.
Kiradawea2010-08-17 21:21:26
You're out as per the rules of three days inactivity.

So... Siam and Arix are now playing or... ?
Kiradawea2010-08-17 21:31:16
Siam just responded that he couldn't, so I've sent another PM to Ileein. I'm gonna resend a PM to Arix as well, to make sure he got one.

Not particularly. I have a protective chip I slotted during the night which lasts a certain amount of time and has a chance of protecting me. I guess it hides my navigator or something. I can't think of the harm in telling who she is though. Romeda Andou.

So much time, so little posting. Do I need to break out the storm again? It'll be a slaughter for sure this time.

I don't get the rampant non-postiness of this game, to be honest.
Kiradawea2010-08-18 16:53:05
It's unfortunately been a tendency these past few games. Up until now, activity has actually been above average. Still, with the no posting rules as they are, we could very well end the game on day two, because everyone but you Ayisdra and Synl will be voting for him/herself.

Post more folks!
Noola2010-08-18 17:16:27
Alright, in an effort to help spur the game on (despite the chance folks will think I'm posting too much laugh.gif ) who all is suspicious of who? I know that some folks were suspicious of me (though hopefully I've laid some of those suspicions to rest).

There was some suspicion Synl mentioned about Jack exposing who our doctor is. Anyone want to explore that?
Unknown2010-08-18 18:04:07
Well, I'm not a hundred percent certain of one thing or another obviously. But if you have suspicions on who the doctor is due to chip use, it seems dangerous to post it openly.
Jack2010-08-18 18:04:21
It wasn't really me exposing them per se, it was more speculation on my part. I haven't even used that Holypanel chip I got yet. I was just trying to clear Ayisdra's name because the chip I received from her didn't seem scummy, y'know?
Unknown2010-08-18 18:08:21
It seemed like speculation, too, which is why I didn't make too much of it. Looking into Romeda Andou, it would seem Noola is StarMan.exe (also explains why my power didn't reveal her navigator, since apparently StarMan.exe's navigator is never revealed in the game). And from what I can see, StarMan.exe is a Darkloid who fights Megaman repeatedly. And hands out a virus.

Unvote. Vote: Noola.

Again, close. I'm not Starman, I'm Asteroid Starman.
Jack2010-08-18 18:30:00
Alright, that seems like a good call, but before I hop aboard and vote Noola too, are you positive that Starman is scummy in Battle Network, or is he only the bad guy (a Robot Master) in a 'mainstream' Megaman game? That could make a difference.
Jack2010-08-18 18:30:26
Curse you, Star-Ninja!
Noola2010-08-18 18:42:13
Starflex! (not a real thing! laugh.gif )

I'll even tell you what all my chips do:

I've got a doublevote chip - which I've used
a requires one more vote chip - which I've used
a chip that negates the first slotted chip someone else uses - haven't used yet
a chip which creates a 24 hour deadline - haven't used that one yet
a chip that has a small chance of protecting me from any other chip - which I've used
a chip that protects me from one non-lynch kill and requires me to use another chip to use - haven't used it yet
And the chip which has no other purpose than to let me use the above mentioned chip

Not sure what else I can say that'll prove I'm a good guy, I've pretty much revealed all my secrets. I'm a townie. All my chips are protecty or dealing with votes. I don't have any attack chips or viruses or whatever unless you count the one that negates the first slotted chip someone else uses, but since I have no way of telling what that chip could be, I'm not sure how that'd count as an attack. More like a defense with potential for backfiring, since someone might slot a helpful chip (which is why I haven't tried it yet).

Well, according to the wiki, the navigator that Noola revealed is in charge of StarMan.exe (the Darkloid). Plus StarMan.exe fits with the rest of us name-wise (ShadowMan.exe, SearchMan.exe). AND StarMan.exe has the power Star Arrow which I believe Noola used earlier as a chip. There is another 'Star Man' but he seems entirely unrelated. Finally, there is a mention of an Asteroid StarMan.exe, but there's no information on what the difference is between the normal and the Asteroid versions, so... Noola?

I'm a bit out of my depth in explaining the difference between Starman and Asteroid Starman, given I don't know much about Mega Man in general. But, from what I've gathered from what you've said, Starman is a bad guy who either doesn't have a navigator or whose navigator is always hidden or unknown? Right? Well, my guy is Asteroid Starman and he has a navigator and isn't a bad guy cause I my win condition is with the officials.

Also, I don't have Star Arrow, the chip I used is called Star Shot. Similar, I guess, but different. Like how Starman and Asteroid Starman are different.
Unknown2010-08-18 19:00:30
Hrm. I guess the information on the wiki isn't completely conclusive... and going by flavour is already a tad weak. Plus you did reveal all your powers. But now I'm back to square one and just a little suspicious of Jack...

Unvote.
