Hey, hey! Don't diss the pet rock man! They are lovable, and they give you so much comfort and love in return so long as you give them sunlight and love, man. LOVE I TELL YOU.

Would you have preferred me saying "go snuggle a Garrus Vakarian" personally I really want to do that. *cries that her me2 disc is being held hostage by a horrible friend*

Glad someone actually read it! But uhh no idea what a Garrus Vakarian is so I can't say if it would be better. tongue.gif

Lendren, Sylphas, and now Gregori. I think there was one before this too. Sweet. It seems to be working, though it sets a dangerous precendent.

Still don't know what it is but it looks less cute than a pet rock, you're right.

Yea, I agree that was silly thing to do. I mean, what harm could come from sexing it up with Garrus! Everyone loves Garrus! wub.gif

Wait, what?
Aubrey2010-08-06 04:25:45
Yes, I figured people would think it's funny and necessary to say "tl;dr" rolleyes.gif At least I contributed something useful.

Still no idea what/who Garrus is. huh.gif

There be a clicky clicky link in the *points to avatar* post.

But if you're not willing/interested in clicking said link I'll give a basic rundown of who Garrius is. He is a character in a Action RPG made by Bioware called Mass Effect, as well as its sequel Mass Effect 2. He is an alien, a turian to be specific. In the second ME he becomes a romance option for a female Shepard (main character of the game). He is awesome, despite the fact that part of his face gets blown off and he is a bit of a naive idealist.

"A quarantine zone for a plague that kills turians, why don't we ever go anywhere nice?" ~ Garrus, Mass Effect 2.

Oh right.

Yeah, not my thing. No wonder I'd never heard of it!

I see the thread refuses to die. Gentlemen, release the lolcats.

doh.gif Yep, thanks for setting me straight.

At least now I know better than to waste time contributing a thoughtful response when someone "asks for advice."

Really, this forum is looking more and more like Achaea's every day. losewings.gif

Imo, I think it is because your post came at the end. The thread was dying (despite giving me something to read, damnit!).

Probably this. The thread was dying down on its own, people had said/heard enough, and were moving on.

I know when a thread needs to die. It's usually around the time when you can look at the last two pages and see that one person is the only person actually contributing posts to the thread, and those posts still contain less actual content than one standard issue lolcat. Ladies, gentlemen, I bid you good day.

Your "thoughtful response" consisted of several paragraphs of talking about how great you are and how much you know, two paragraphs that're outright untrue by the public record (or the sort of exaggeration that's the refuge of many liars, take your pick), and one paragraph telling Kalin to chill.

So no, after reading it, all I'm convinced of is your need to feel connected.
