It is really nice the changes that are being made that you can buy so many by ID number. However, could we get pricing by what is on the items? so like.. esteem is where I am having a problem right now, I apparently have a stack of like 60+ esteemed needles I didn't know about and I really cannot check if they are all esteemed or not without going through every single one of them (which, if they are esteemed cool but I am gonna spend a long time pricing them all single). So could we have a PRICE ALL ESTEEM (price) (bin)? Please, thank you.
Edit: how about all LIKE items meaning, it has to be 100% in order to be in the same stack so if we have a mix of different types of needles, tinder boxes whatever we have esteemed pricing all esteem will price them all so say I have two ruby vials and I end up with two stacks of those, I know one is not 100% and can easily unprice the one item.

so if you have needles all of the same type imbued, and you use price all it doesn't select all imbued needles of that type like it does for con food?

I don't know something. Right now I have a real mess and just trying to brain storm something that will help, maybe price all needle and if it is imbued it will grab that and only price imbued of that type. I sell normal needles and imbued needles of the same sort so, if there was a way to identify what is imbued and what is not.

This is where that idea I had about using two tags might help. PRICE ALL ESTEEM NEEDLE 6000 BIN 1.
EDIT: This would also help if you wanted to price different kinds of esteem items, with different prices. Like you could do the above, and then PRICE ALL ESTEEM BOTTLE 7000 BIN 1.

this is the problem I am having, right now, I have to price all my esteemed needles as single, so my shop looks like this:
needle30981: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle32959: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle34273: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle34619: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle35882: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 65 6500gp - this is my problem, I KNOW I do not have 65 needles that are esteemed but only way I can fix this is to go through every single one of them
needle277807: a delicate emerald piercing needle 62 120gp - these are non esteemed items which I am actually buying a lot of them back to sell as esteem.
needle275538: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle237041: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle275554: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle275557: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle275680: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle275679: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle275694: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle275701: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle275708: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle278262: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle277887: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle209475: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
Type MORE to continue reading. (69% shown)
So what would be nice is if it recognized esteemed and non esteemed items (would also be nice if you could II NEEDLE or IH NEEDLE you could see what is esteemed and what is not this would help also).
So example I can PRICE ALL needle277807 BIN 3 - and this would price all this type of needle that are NOT esteemed.
Then I can PRICE ALL needle30981 BIN 3 - and this would price all my esteemed needles that are of the same type.
needle30981: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp
needle32959: esteem (a delicate emerald piercing needle) 1 6500gp

thing is I almost am certain I do not have 65 needles of esteem! thus the problem I have here.. and if I do... I have no clue how I got it all..
Thendis2010-08-07 01:56:39
Esteem is only 20% of karma reserves, right? That's not much... though it can help from time to time.
Esano2010-08-07 03:32:34
It's also 65535 essence to a god of your choice, or can be used to sanctify/defile shrines at about one bottle per room.

The way I've been doing it, I've been putting esteem all in the same needle type. It might work with mixed styles of the same item, I don't know. But for example, if I go to my stockroom and have 3 esteemed needles on me, and there are 4 esteemed needles on sale in the shop, I pick up the needles and/or juggle my inventory a bit so that all I have in the base inventory is all of the esteemed needles - my unimbued needles are put in containers. Then I drop all the needles, and price all the needles (PRICE ALL NEEDLE # BIN #). Then I take out all the unimbued needles I want to store, and have an alias/trigger combination set up to drop them and price them individually notforsale.
This winds up with all my esteemed needles in one stack in the shop wares, and my unimbued needles (as well as my permanent stash of imbued needles) stored in the stockroom for safekeeping.

It'd probably be simpler if the PRICE ALL command just recognized that esteemed and unesteemed items aren't the same. Then you could just PRICE ALL NEEDLE12345 one price, and PRICE ALL NEEDLE67890 another price.
