So, demigod changes are in and (after any possible tweaks) done with. SO, next on the docket... How about the conversion of so many of the old, interesting mounts Lusternia used to have into beasts? Is there any hope for old mounts being revamped into the beasts? Mainly, we (all of the playerbase, don't argue) would like to see:

Boars
War Camels
Dashros
Wakabis
(MAYBE) Wombats

converted into beasts. I mean, I, for one, feel that without a war camel to call my own, my RP continues to drip into the black abyss of mediocrity.

I would love more beasts (that don't cost fortunes) to raise =) And how about special mounts for Continuum/Vortex? I'm very curious what they'd be. If they exist.

And new different kinds of animals that can be turned into beasts. Cows. OMG!

I do think we could use one or two more low-end beasties.

Give wakabi mount/trot as an alternative to the horse's mount/gallop.

Maybe give camels block, but more than that might get expensive.

A beast with armour as an inherent might be fun too. Maybe some undervault critter, so it can be sold in Ixthiaxa/Ptoma.

On a serious note, though. I do not think anything is really "alive" enough on those two planes to be used as mounts. At least in Continuum's case its mostly just non-sentient energy beings, as far as I understand.

I think having tamed Mantekarr or Fishers would be pretty neat down there.

While I'm not against your proposal, I don't think it works that way -- the resources used for those two things aren't necessarily the same.

I absolutely wouldn't mind adding more beasts; however, they are the MOST difficult (creatively speaking) objects to setup. We've even tried to recruit mortal builders to help but with less than stellar results. Anyway, despite my enthusiasm for adding more, it really isn't a priority (compared to other things).

How about a design a mount contest? Those that are good enough get rewarded with them being added to the game. The rest gets a pat on the head for trying.
