I agree that the beast abilities should be available all the time. It's a bit of a pain to use it when it's only available for a limited time and you have to activate it first. I'd like to buy one of the beast powers, but I really don't find them worthwhile for the current cost with the current limitations.

If it's only lasting 30 minutes, that's a bug (should last an hour).

So mob protection is worth less than custom text that has no combat use whatsoever? Since when does RP flavor cost more than utility and combat?

It's based on supply and demand. One is a much rarer commodity than the other, hence it costs more.

Huh? Did neither of you read the rest of the thread in any way? They're kept expensive because of the hassle involved with approving zaps and shouts. The admin want to spur people to buy the pre-approved ones. As for the reason divine fire is lower then it, who cares? They're not going to lower the zaps and shouts and divine fire only works on mobs now so I think we can live with it being accessible.

That's actually a decent point. If the intent is to minimize the hassle of approving then it would be nice if those already approved could grab a discount, grandfathered in. Even if Revan's shout makes me want to take points from Slytherin.

The way for Demigods to get 1 Ascendant power by getting Vernal Ascendant and losing it so you're a Vernal Demigod... seems a bit of an odd way to get Ascendant powers as a Demigod.
