I would like to suggest two things regarding cult along with agreeing with Nariah that the cost needs to be lowered for the ephemeral bit.
1) Increase essence tithed from offering from 8.7% to 15-20%. Reason being is that since it'll cost 120mil to get the skill trained... that's 12 billion essence needed to be offered. That's not a wholly realistic number and I doubt anyone would trans Veneration within the next year or so.
2) Lower the cost to trans Veneration OR increase the amount of essence used per meditation. People like to PLAY Lusternia, not have to sit for a day to trans a skillset
that's my two cents. Any suggestions to edit/enhance/fix appreciated and welcome

1. Bahaha, yes. Naralis has been working his tooshie off clearing the basin and we only have 50k essence made. 30k of which I used in a single sitting learning Veneration! :3
2. And totally agree. We need to lower the total cost to Trans to maybe 70 or 80 mil or increase the amount of essence in meditation! I am on the test server and have been going 6 hours learning from Capable all the way to Fabled. That is just learning back to back. Whew. All this meditating, I am think I pulled a muscle!

The cult leader can give their own essence to the cult. This is why neither were adjusted (and I do not foresee them being adjusted). 8.7% is more what carried over from the old cult system, but it seems to me a fine amount. There's a few ways to boost offering values now, so I'm not terribly concerned.

It's a bit difficult to test, but it looks like it resets at midnight IG.
EDIT: And in case no-one's posted the numbers, it's 35k + 35k*rezzes, restores to full health with grace.

At the very least, that should be implemented. Having to spend real life hours (if I understand Lorina, you're spending more than six hours to trans it) just to learn a skill is unfun.

Having spent hours meditating upon Ascendance (which used the exact same mechanic), I can agree it's unfun.
EDIT: Ascendance was 120,000,000 essence to trans, at 30,000 per meditation which takes 10s channeled (ie clanchat or similar interrupts). It comes out to be around eleven or twelve hours of straight meditating.

Every meditate is the equivalent of learning 15 lessons. It's only two messages, though, as opposed to 6-7. Though I'm not sure on the time-span versus learning and meditating. Having not actually used the learn verb in 3 or 4 years, heh.

Do you have to meditate for Veneration up in the Domoth Realms? That was one of the pains of Ascendance.
