Dreamweaving will be placed by weavedreaming in which the sleeping people dream of baskets.

Although I hate voting for it, bugs is the most important at the moment.
Please don't vote for the "OOOOH SHINEY!" this month. Lusternia, as it is now, needs love via fixing bugs.

I'd prefer it if we did bugs -and- finetuning existing stuff like the demigod/ascendant system, commodity system, and whatever new thing came before this.
Oh, and envoy/special reports.
After all that is said and done: races would be cool.

I've always felt like it was the best strategy to keep the bug list as small as possible, before adding in new features. My second choice is race review, because I'm hoping I'd get a free race change out of the deal, and I'm probably not going to play anymore until I can race change for free
Unknown2010-08-27 01:46:22
Voted for bugs. For some reason I've started to notice a bunch of them recently, my own 'listbugs' is a bit too long =(
Oh and also Harmonics special report for Sept.

Incidentally, I'd be pretty down for a 'fix monks' option too, post-bugs, I'd even vote for that over races.

Fix monks through an enhanced Envoy and/or special focus group and special report dreamweaving/psychometabolism in addition to other general bug fixes.
Svorai2010-08-27 01:52:39
I don't think we need any more dramatic changes just yet. Commodities and Ascendant stuff needs time to pan out.
Bugs please.
Bugs please.
Anisu2010-08-27 02:02:15
Do people really have that many unsolved bugs that they feel bug fixing needs special attention? Or are they just reacting to the sentinement of eww bugs fix plz?
How about additional envoy slot month(s) either for the new guilds or to fix monks.

Bug fixing is boring and relatively ungratifying. I can't imagine a month of staring at a screenful of code that has eluded bugfixing for a year or more would make anybody happy.
EDIT: Also, yesplz to expanded guild rebalancing.

Yep! I'm in this boat as well. I would love to see Dreamweaving get fixed. However, the number of players with the skill number, what?, 10 so it gotta fall under low priority in the scheme of things. I'm curious at what point did it get broken. I remember when I first started using it back in the days it worked fine.
I voted for Family. It would be great to see a system which added a new dimension to competition be implemented.
Xiel2010-08-27 02:07:10
Just as an aside, there's already a Transmology/Harmonics report going on if you have problems with those specifically. Contact your local envoy to throw your thoughts at them.

We would love to fix the one dreamweaving bug; however, it cannot be reproduced by coders (assuming its the rare link bug). I think I've mentioned this a zillion times, but I'll do it again: If you can reproduce the bug, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let Roark know immediately how to manifest the bug. It simply is impossible to fix something that we cannot reproduce.
Unknown2010-08-27 02:10:15
You know... we're actually being given the option of having viable tradeskills again (or having our loans 'refinanced' ala demigod/comm tweaks, so it's a bit of a Russian roulette thing). I'm surprised that for all the moaning over them I've heard for months and months and months, that that option is being stomped by bugfixes, which Estarra has come out and said -isn't- a major problem at the moment.

I don't what to report anymore if they can't reproduce it because it really happens every single time I use link. There's also a bug that you can't hit dreambodies with any active abilities like indigo or violet that happens everytime I use dreambody.
I literally just logged on and tried it and it happened.

Tradeskills
The impression I've got from this thread is that the bug backlist isn't all that bad and it may not resolve the dreamweaving issue.
After that tradeskills seem like the bigger issue of the rest and I can remember some fairly long term complaints about them. Seriously, Artisan. I have lessons to skillflex it even if I don't keep it and yet I cannot convince myself to take it over any other skill.

This. I don't get it. Went ahead and voted for a Family system revamp but the more I think about it, the more I wish I'd have voted for another look at trades.
Aerotan2010-08-27 03:26:28
I'm voting for the Family system because, as much awesome as tweaking races or commodities would be, I recall that the Demichanges were also spawned from something like this, and that ended up taking longer than the month, so I have faith that the admin will stick with it until it's done right (Which I have no problem with at all.)
Mirami2010-08-27 03:38:21
Tradeskill 'revamp' really only needs to undo some of the comm changes that went in. I'd rather see the family system actually make sense, wait on the minor tradeskill/commodity revamp (maybe better in a month, after the new system levels out a bit?), and put the rest of the effort into backlog-clearing (including the elusive dreamweaving fix).
Daraius2010-08-27 03:45:33
I figure I'll be around for a few more months to see all of these lovely things come to fruition, so the order in which they're addressed doesn't matter too much to me. I voted family because it should be one of the most RP-focused facets of the game and the more love and attention it gets, the better.
