Aside from the dreamweaving thing, I know there's a few other pretty bad bugs out there. Like the double pinleg bug, or that thing where arena DCs drain all your power reserves. I guess the losing defs on DC thing is related to that last one too.
And aside from just bug fixes, I think they should put some more time into seeing how the ascendant and comm changes play out and what tweaks are needed before jumping into anything new.

Umm, there are quite a bugs, some more important than others.
From my bugs:
Jakati
Ghostwalk
Papaxi Curse
Jakarikoghu (reported elsewhere)
Pits and chaindrag
Arena
Inquisition and momentum.
The ones that I would love to see fixed, however, are the ones that affect the conflict quests. It's extremely irritating to be negatively impacted and be incapable of fixing it, having it affect things like epic quests, commodity quests, etc.

Tradeskill 'revamp' really only needs to undo some of the comm changes that went in. I'd rather see the family system actually make sense, wait on the minor tradeskill/commodity revamp (maybe better in a month, after the new system levels out a bit?), and put the rest of the effort into backlog-clearing (including the elusive dreamweaving fix).
It's more than commodities as there have been complaints about tradeskills dating back more than two weeks, the issue being that changes to tradeskills can only be made through envoys which means that they will very rarely if ever be done because, rightfully, there are probably more important combat related things to be changed.
I believe some of the complaints about tradeskills date back to even before the addition of family honour they just keep getting pushed aside for other things which is unfortunate because with some fixes trades could become more interesting and I might be able to convince myself that Artisan is worth the lessons.

Bugs first please.
However... it would be ideal to get races handled, I dont think there is alot of changing to be done for them.
Double envoy reports this month would be orgasmic though too (Including speeding up already submitted reports!).

Agreed!

Watch your heresy, Saran. Artisan is always worth it.

Honestly, I'd like to see the admin working on trade artifacts. (insert shameless plug for a pantograph upgrade here)
especially the forging mallet and its inability to be used by non-owners. no other trade artifact has this, and I don't see why the stipulation was added in the first place.

As much as new/revised content would be cool, I can't help but be a bit paranoid about new stuff being added in, given what has happened with recent new things. At least bugs are broken in the first place.

Any new stuff is like playing Russian Roulette, but I'm gonna keep hoping that trend will change and betting against the bears.

I don't what to report anymore if they can't reproduce it because it really happens every single time I use link. There's also a bug that you can't hit dreambodies with any active abilities like indigo or violet that happens everytime I use dreambody.
I literally just logged on and tried it and it happened.

On a side note: I did manage to hit a dreambody with indigo and violet when the weaver's physical body was on another Plane.

Personally I'm up to 11 bugs now on my buglist (all utility/non-combattive bugs), so I'll vote for bugs.
Nariah2010-08-27 08:00:05
I worry that a lot of those voting for bugs are hoping that all of their troubles will be solved with this. All of the bugs on their buglist, all of the quest bugs, and Dreamweaving will be fixed. And at the end of all this, even Maeve will be sane. Frankly, I highly doubt that such will be the case, a lot of bugs that people who voted for this solution would like to have fixed won't be, or will not be deemed bugs or will be turned away to envoy process. We'll probably walk away with: what did we actually achieve? When we could walk away with major and wonderful things for a, b, or c.

Very likely.
I went for family system. I am worried about the possibility it'll get worse than it already is in some aspects, but races don't seem that bad, bugs aren't an option and tradeskills are going to be a bitch to look at right now with unstable comm changes all over the place, so process of elimination leads me to the hope that we'll see periodic honour resets so certainly families don't render the entire system obsolete by being like four RL years ahead of everyone else.
Unknown2010-08-27 08:30:41
I went for racial review because at the end of the day, I think bugs will be fixed... Merians need some lovin'! Oh hey , Starhymn special report, please?

I'm sorry, you create items that last so long that the people who can afford the costs in the first place do not need to buy them again for quite some time. Let's not even talk about trying to make money off such items. Then you look at a trans skill which is worse than orgbixes. The only items that might make money in the skill are reliant on Tinkering which seems to also require revision along with Bookbinding.

Honestly upon drinking on it further, I think guild balancing is the way to go again (and bugs).
Kiradawea2010-08-27 09:06:45
Wouldn't it be better to wait with that until after the reports for Institute and Illuminati are done with?

Guild balancing would be waaaaaay more than a month... unless is includes the deletion of monks.
