Not every player will be a part of a family and they are pretty much an optional extra(seriously, you could delete families and there would be no real issues as everyone who actually wanted a family would just move them to clans instead). Tradeskills cost lessons(plus credits in those where artifacts are neccessary) and are needed/valuable for various aspects of the game (except tinkering).

Hence the sort off, I snuck in my personal bias ... but your suggested order would indeed be more fair

Tradeskills effect everyone, if things are broken or cost too much then people can't afford them and EVERYONE needs something from a tradeskill unless their either a level 80 nudist non-com that never ventures from the plex or absolutely determined to live off whatever trader bob sells.
Not all the bugs effect everyone and they don't always happen.
Last time I checked there aren't that many 'undefined' people, so if a race is unbalanced for whatever reason it'll effect you.
Family... I don't see there being anything wrong with the family system, you adopt/bloodbond and end up adopted/bloodbonded, might be some 'nifty' features people want added but if it aint broke don't fix it.

I don't what to report anymore if they can't reproduce it because it really happens every single time I use link. There's also a bug that you can't hit dreambodies with any active abilities like indigo or violet that happens everytime I use dreambody.
Link works every time I use it. That's why I say it isn't reproducible. You must be doing something else in addition to link that I'm not doing. What I'd need is something like, "Do link, then do ABC, the target does XYZ, and then the problem happens."
Also, those two issues are the same bug, just different symptoms.
All that aside, I tried another stab at it today. I tested it and can't find any *new* bugs, though since I cannot reproduce the old bug I don't know if it's fixed. Sometime on Sunday I'd like people to beat up my changes on my dev server. I'll post a time here when I have a time settled.

I agree that of the options present Trades are the most important option, just that the effects of bugs can make them much more far reaching. Estarras comments make me think that there aren't an unusually high amount of reports at the moment but others seem to have a different view.
Families are currently broken with the honour system and they do require fixing, I just don't think that is nearly as important as fixing trades.

There are two definitions of fixing dreamweaving, one that might be looked at in the month but has been ongoing for years (generally resulting in "not replicable" messages) and another which will not.

I have over 30 bugs in my list......
I am monk and I would love to see guild tweaks abound!
In fact can we go head and remove monk as a class and make them like.. Assassin, Shaman, etc? Give each org a more unique set? Failing that though... monks would love a report if you can find one hiding for us.
Racials have an effect on things, and they partially effect any kind of combat review. Its alot easier to seem weak when you are a merian paladin than say a human one. Variations in race make things unique but they also open space for broken in either direction.
Trade review? Seriously dont mess with comm numbers again, just increase production rates to keep more to demand.
But.. my favorite idea is faster envoy development and more slots.. BUT in an effort to make some things better... allow 5 slots for trade skill stuff in each report.
I think we could probably do all of the above, depending how long they take.. but I think you may find the players would be more than willing to give you a second month to include all the content

Yeah, sure, if I can get one too. Hell, I'd settle for just my own EZ mode without the extra tertiaries. Sound fair?

Yeah, as you can see from some of the above posts, new monk tetriaries (which would better be released if and when Gaudiguch/Hallifax monks ever see the light of day) and a monk tradeskill (forger spec for monks please) will simply be laughed off the forums until the "Delete Monk" crowd feels that monks are rightfully
For all they wail and moan on the forums, it's shocking they haven't been more vocal to ask for monk
Again, vocalizing my opinion on bugs and catching up/doubling up on Envoy slots for this month (to speed up the monk balancing act).

Yes they do. As do bards. Mages being OP doesn't mean delete TK.

As for having so many bugs on your list, it might be good to fix them, yes, but alot of them don't REALLY impact things. There are a few bugs I'd really like to see fixed, dreamweaving if only to get people to shut up about it, Malacoda manor, maybe that jewelry/clothing bug where you can't wear stuff you want to.
But that's going to take a month, that's a month of extremely annoying trade skills, people, of not being able to get new stuff without way too much searching or spending two/three times as much because someone else wanted to make something before you did.

Hey Everiine, don't look now but you have four choices in one skill and three in another, making a total of twelve variations in your guild. We have two. You're the last person in the world who should be asking for more options.

Or this "clairsentience" (monk spec, not Ascendant ability) that I've heard so little about.
Shiri2010-08-28 14:53:54
That would be a nice start, although you'd need one more to even it up with magi.
Unknown2010-08-28 14:57:05
Just give TK to monks. I'm sure nothing could possibly go wrong there.
I'd hope that if Bugs win out, this also means we get to see catch-up work done on finalising the last wave of envoy reports and setting changes in. As an example, how would report 419 fit into the scope of things?
