Hey. Hey you. What should I learn?

I've skillflexed to learn multiple trade skills, some just to get the item benefit (magic tome, master armor), and I'd say it's well worth the lessons spent. It's pretty cheap to go back to any of my dormant trade skills, so I can pick up Bookbinding again when I need a new magic tome or go back to Forging when I need more spare helms.

There's no reason to just sit on 2800 lessons because you're omni-trans, in other words.

In that case:

Do you often find yourself wishing you had more power? Discipline

OR

Do you ever find yourself getting completely destroyed by warriors who know what they're doing? Combat.

I actually have no interest in dramatics so I'd probably skillflex a second trade skill. XD

Personally, I'd be annoyed with seeing that Expert there.

That's pretty much why I'm omnitrans now, yeah. Veneration is driving me nuts.
Lendren2011-01-19 01:24:22
I'm a little bit of a completist, but I think compared to some of you I'm downright easy-going. I mostly want Veneration at trans so I don't have to think about it, not so I will have a nice neat list.

Anyway, if it's driving you nuts, go offer more to me!

So, what should I go for? Or any artifacts that I can start going for? frenzy.gif
Kiradawea2011-01-20 15:12:04
Aethercraft if you often go on aetherhunts. Elsewise, why not go for Environment and get Attune? Or Dramatics if you influence a lot.
Unknown2011-01-20 15:13:59
Looks like you have most of the essentials.

Skillwise, discernment has some useful-but-nonessential stuff left in it for you, notably the trans skill. Evironment also would give you some stuff that would come in handy now and again. High magic would both increase the equivalent of the old "magic" skill for you, as well as give you some situationally useful skills.

On the artifact front, artifact pipes are a good place to start, just so you're always lit and/or aren't subject to relighting spam all day long.
Unknown2011-01-20 16:01:16
One tiny problem is that I do all three (aetherhunt, bash, influence) in a pretty even distribution, so I'm kinda divided as to which of those skills to learn first. (although scaling in Environment, mindsets in Dramatics and magic resistance in Highmagic tilt me more in their favour)

Also, like Rainydays mentioned, Discernment (although I've gotten most of those that are really useful) and Planar with Broadcast further distract me with their nifty abilities.

Oh yes! Artifact pipes! Although, can I remove and reattach the runes if I want to change my pipes?
Unknown2011-01-20 16:17:29
Removing a rune destroys the rune and gives you a two-thirds credit refund.
