Hi untrendy nerds,
I'm using my MacBook Air, the cobalt blue one, and I downloaded this program called Mudlet LOL. Anyway, my keyboard has keys called F16 through F19, and I don't think lame PCs have keys like this.
My problem is, when I type stuff in to try and make macros with Mudlet and my keyboard, the keys F17, F18 and F19 aren't recognized. They come up as "undefined keys" in the GUI and if I push any of them, they all count as the same key. So I can't make any macros other than my faceroll macro. Wtf bro? Help me, I'll pay you.

Any know to how to make.....
You raze Prailie's aura of rebounding with a menacing double-edged klangaxe.
Echo...
REBOUNDING DOWN!
EDIT: Forgot to add this. I want to make it for whenever I raze somebody, just not Prailie

Just do a perl regex with it and set it to echo in colour.

Is there a way to do an echo without a newline at the end, effectively causing your echo to be at the start of the following line? I tried insertText() but it didn't seem to do this.
So, if you did echo("\\nblah"), it would not have a line break at the end, but would say:
blahYou see exits leading...

Regex pattern: ^You raze .+ aura of rebounding with a menacing double-edged klangaxe\\.$
code: cecho("
Though anyone using the same axe will cause it to trigger. You can make it uniquely to your combat target and stuff.

No it won't: there's a difference between "You raze" and "X razes".

thank you! what does the $ after colors do?
and..for example, a color tatch says light_blue, how do I use it for an echo?
another, how do I edit the screen colors on Mudlet? I can't read, for example, "This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water."

Was told it's okay without the 's. Tried it with 's and it's still not firing.
I put an echo on the previous code and it wasn't firing. Tried this one and the echo works. The rest, however, doesn't:

you have to tonumber() each thing individually, then do division. so put tonumber around both matches
Sylphas2011-03-02 14:29:52
Why are you sandwiching all your send()'s between newlines?
Vadi2011-03-02 15:03:13
Oh, should be send too, not Send. Don't need \\n's in send either!

I have no idea why the \\n were there..I just modified the commands inside since it was supposedly working for the original user. Thanks!
It's working now. Thanks a lot.
And oh..about my earlier question about the colors..how do I pick out a color to use for an echo from the tatches that show up in showColors()? And how do I edit Mudlet screen colors since I can't read some lines because of the contrast.

seems like the original user copied it from mushclient
And to use them in an echo you make use of cecho
cecho (text )
in text you can also use
eg
cecho("
or
cecho("I am red text on white background for the entire line", "red", "white")
and if by edit mudlet screen you mean background colour, easiest way is settings -> color view

To print to the main screen in color:
cecho("I am red text on white background but now I'm blue on green")
To print to a miniconsole in color:
cecho("windowname", "I am red text on white background but now I'm blue on green")
cecho("
To print to a miniconsole in color:
cecho("windowname", "
Those examples are outdated.
