Go away. TP for life.

It's all about how you set up attacks, with psionics remember you can use illusions, so using MUSH I set up attacks like

4 *

dissolve %1
psi shatter %1
psi super blah %1
psi id blahheh %1
Psi sub blaaah %1
beast does something here.
weave illusion 'you suck'

Edit: and remember that you don't have to wait on all your channels to open up before you attack again, certain attacks that you make will require that, some wont. At the very least you don't need to wait before you do more illusions.

Not trying to go against you, Lawliet, but Neos, try to learn to manual your illusions. Don't integrate your illusions into your combo macros; this makes you predictable and readable. This also gives you more room for creativity! Just something I've been told/learned the hard way smile.gif

Fixed.

Did I do it right?

If I do it right, I can do both.

I tend to go for both, it depends on what you're trying to do, if for example you want them to think they've been choked or aeoned it might be a good idea to have it with an attack, if you're getting them to remove love potion it's not neccesary.

So, I've gotten slightly better at combat. I don't always panic at the first sight of blood, but I still have a ways to go before I can really be useful. So right now I don't fully understand parrying and stancing. I try to make use of them, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything (most likely a problem with my system, will have to do some testing). Could someone give me a general breakdown of how they work? I'm up to ShieldParry in Combat.

Stancing doesn't do much until you get a higher skillrank in combat, which is probably why you haven't noticed it.

Fixed to account for balance requirements.

Yeah, plus stancing is only effective in certain situations. For example, you can stance when paralyzed or prone, and stancing is given a null value when you have cracked ankles, knees, or elbows. What is useful though, if you don't feel like messing with parrying and stancing with every attack, just stance legs and parry head 100 while everything else is 0. But if you want to parry, make sure you're holding your staff and shield.
