So endgame changes have come and gone, Things have settled down from the dust and there just is still one thing left,

Current Ascendants and vernal demigods (ex-ascendants if you will) did not end up with a complete essence refund. I spent 120millions essence, bashing pretty much constantly when not doing anything else, and put a lot of time and effort into accruing said essence (and the majority of it was good ol' fashion bashing for you 'hate the abashers' crowd), just to have it stripped away when Ascendance was scrapped. I didn't choose to forget Ascendance, just like I didn't choose to forget Magic when that was scrapped, yet we got a full refund of lessons. People who chose demigod/ascendant powers before the adjustments were fully refunded the difference between the old and new prices, why can't we get a full refund for ascendance? Yes we used the skillset and benefitted from the skillset, but so did all those Magic and Demi-power users.

I would like to get a full refund for ascendance, I think other ascendants, ex-ascendants and regular players agree that this should be given, and I don't understand why it wasn't in the first place. Any admin response is more than welcome, in fact encouraged, to let us know why we did not receive the full refund and instead, only received 1/3rd of it back

(But for what it's worth, I think there's a lot of endgame revamp things that are still pending, like the new powers we all brainstormed on and some of us are saving essence and supernumerary for, and Veneration's sorry state.)

Well, here's another essence refund thread huh, I imagine it's been as successful as the last 7 threads so far. But hey, why not, I'm down.

I'm starting to feel that the admin are either just ignoring this or dragging their feet on it, though.

They said, "We'll consider it" and then nothing else. It's been months. No reasoning, no explanation beyond "1 person stated it should be 1/3 in the thread, and though everyone else said it should be full / near full we picked 1/3".

I don't think bumping the thread once an hour is going to get them to respond any faster.

Nor do I think making them out to be cruel evil people will provoke a similarly speedy response.

Not bumping doesn't do anything, either... except that it makes it easier to just forget about it.

Seriously, how long have we asked about this? I don't get why it's this black hole.

Also, there's nothing about it them being 'cruel evil people,' just... overlooking this, for some reason.

Edit: If you think stating the general gist of their two comments on the subject is making them sound like cruel evil people, well. It's more just pointing out that they have been the only replies that we have gotten. And that we'd really like something more solid.

I'd like to think they're just dragging their feet (anniversary/holiday events, bug month wrap-up etc) but at the same time I don't see how this refund is particularly resource-intensive to accomplish.
