You are wielding a jade wand in your left hand and a shield of liquid metal in your right hand.

The surface of this shield looks like a very thick, viscous liquid of a
silver colour. An occasional ripple forms on the surface of the shield
from a breeze or some object making contact with it, but it will quickly
die out. The liquid sticks to anything that touches it, but snaps back
into the form of the shield after trying to pull away an inch or so. A
solid iron handle is bolted into the back of the shield; the handle is
attached to an iron skeleton that forms the overall shape of the shield.
The skeleton is a straight iron bar down the centre with iron ribs
coming out of either side with each rib curving back slightly to
slightly shield the sides of the wielder.
It has 175 months of usefulness left.
It weighs about 300 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of Casilu, The Weed Whacker.
It has been stamped with the seal of Casilu Solutions.


This shield is a miniature work of text art. I love it. I am also using a shield for the first time since my kite shield decayed on Achaea real life years ago. (My pitifully combat-inept self has rarely found a use for shields.) It's an intoxicating experience.

So that's what I was helping design! It's really awesome!
