Logged back on Jack-the-character earlier, to check out some of my old messages. The oldest of them dates back to January 2005. I spent nearly an hour reading through 'em, and it was eerie - I can remember some of the conversations pretty much verbatim, down to the music I was listening to when they transpired. Makes me wanna buy 2K creds and start playing regular-like again.
...oh dear lord.

If they like the game and are oblivious enough, just wait until they get an elected position.

Yeeeeeees. I shall rave about Jack returning.

2011/07/14 04:35:13 - Kalegyne set an unenemying fine of 50000 gold for Jack.
This will not end well.
Jack2011-07-14 12:26:22
I calculate it's going to take about 800K minimum for Jack to become unenemied to everywhere. (And there's going to be lingering resentment - READNEWS PUBLIC 1060 for details. I got so many TDFs from that.) Consequently, I think it's best if I just make a new character/revive a less-hated alt. Definitely going to be a Celestian, though, I haven't played there nearly enough.

I had forgotten how nicely the histories were written. There are a few booboos (I can't help but reflexively point them out) but, maaaaan. I was remembering the achaean histories, which are long but on the drier side. The histories of Lusternia, for any flaws, truely feel epic! I can totally imagine some high historian or epic poet standing above a crowd and intoning "BEFORE TIME OR SPACE OR MOVEMENT..." or the classic old woman narrator voice speaking to a swell of epic orchestra as the title scrawls across the screen LoTR style.

I'd prefer Morgan Freeman.

Mike Rowe.
No, Patrick Stewart.
No, Malcolm McDowell.
No, Will Arnett.
No, Jon Benjamin is the voice of Lusternia.

OMG, I'm now imagining him reading Cosmogenesis and I may have to go lie down for a minute.

He may be an awesome narrator, but He'll always be Easy Reader to me...
(Which is a complement--even doing kids shows he was cool... I think maybe kids my age were all conditioned to be in awe of him...)

I was mainlining 90% pure roleplay. It hit my veins like a tortured metaphor.

I'm rather surprised that my simple pen and ink made it as a merit.
Jack2011-07-15 04:48:15
Hey, just re-checking: you can transfer credits won from a bardic to your other characters, right? That's why they're given in creddie rather than bound form?
EDIT: fsk, wrong topic. answer anyway

Well, did you get prices from them direct or are you estimating all this off-hand? Im enemied to everything in both Seren and Celest but it wouldn't cost all that much for a fine since I stopped raiding and combat all-together. Not only that but you only need to get unenemied to celest and Glom.
