How much of the Conclave was your imagination and how much was Elostian's tyranny?
Almost all of it was Elostian's (or whichever god made it, but I'm going to assume Elostian). Although, I was lucky enough to get one of the conversations I had with it recorded as part of its "Conversations I Am Currently Having In The Past" mode, as were a couple other guildmembers.

As expected, which is probably the source of Phoebus's and Ilyssa's lament. How can our puny ideas compare with the guy who built Hallifax from the ground up? (Well, from the sky down, I guess.) Even a totally pimped out Malimli Fairquillion is going to look lame next to the Conclave!

Behind the computer screen, Elostian is (probably) a real mortal man/woman just like the rest of us. Also, you do get the opportunity to put something of your creation into the game (on a much grander scale than designing a robe or a book), that other players will see (and maybe appreciate). Even though Mahalla didn't pop out as a time traveling superbeing, I'm proud that I had the opportunity to give her a personality. Every time a Harbinger says a keyword while standing at their tutor, what I wrote surges forth, unsolicited, to annoy them/impress them (all of which being less verbose than anything Fraesic says at the Matrix, I accept thank yous in the form of credits). It's cool to know that if someone looks at a (non-hallway) room in the Harbinger guild hall, they are looking at something I wrote that will forever be a part of the game or that every time they enter the guildhall through the mirror, they see the text I wrote for that action.
Very few people get the opportunity to have such a permanent impact on the game, so being able to customize your own stuff, even if it will never be one-tenth as awesome as anything the Institute has, is still pretty cool. But, you still get to make a lasting contribution to game you (presumably) love enough to take up a volunteer work position for your guild.
(For the record, Estarra/Elostian are way more creative than I am and I infinitely prefer them to work their magic than leaving it to my uninspired crap.)

Ok, not as much yes.
Basically, you guys get all the shiny toys without even having to ask for them. Sharing is caring, yo.

We're not giving you the Conclave, if that's what you're asking.

I don't think my comments came across how I intended. So I'm just going to say I agree with all of you, and I really do think Elostian's ideas and conceptualization of Hallifax are incredible. Also I didn't mean to imply that player contributions to guild denizens and facilities are inherently less valuable or creative than the builders' (even though that's pretty much the only way to read what I posted). So sorry about that.
I'm trying to work on something on a bigger scale than I or my character really feels comfortable with, so this is exactly how I'm feeling. I've just got to get over it and buckle down.

So long as nobody rejects, marries out or divorces, only three more people for Stormcrow.

Seekers. Awesome awesome bunch of Seekers and graduates. Extra love to Anita and Arienne for helping out and teaching. Thanks to Bronagh for helping a Wayfarer in the Glade with their Planar quest. Desari's been lovely fun to talk with too (although scary when plotting with Arienne). Hope to see more of Lasariya and Bellatrixx! Love and luck to Justalyne.

While this is not an accusation or defense, I'd like to take a short moment to clarify that I did in fact start to add things to the Centre without prompting or asking. The problem was that my vision of the Centre and the vision held by members did not seem to be compatible. So instead of forcing concepts and designs down players' throats that they really didn't want, I instead opted for a more passive approach where it concerns the Centre. That isn't to say I'm not open to making changes; I'm just not going to do so without being asked and by doing so frustrate even more people.
And thank you for the positive feedback, it's stuff like that which gives me the motivation to go on and make more of it.

Anonymous letters are fun!
But TELL ME WHO YOU ARE, DAMNIT, so I can send letters back without feeling like an idiot and wondering if I sent them to the wrong person.

And don't even think about claiming you designed those two rooms that I did either
I'm sure Eliron is still enjoying that office I designed for the Maestro. (Which is of course exactly the way I left it ~peer~)

I feel the need to clarify: I was kind of joking!! ICly, Phoebus kind of (ok, a lot) resents the Institute for getting all the shiny things, and I'm silly and think it's fun to act like it bothers me more than it actually does.
