All my statuses with Hallifax are resolved!
... Now here's to hoping Ileein doesn't just huck my letter in the Matrix D: that just seems to be my luck lately with talking to people.

Why isn't this thread called "Lack of Raves III: The Ravening?" You missed a trick there, by gum.
EDIT: Also sprach Jack.

Rave for super successful aetherhunt and full cargo holds. It's been a few weeks since I could get a crew together but this one was great.

Rave for Events and new areas...
Rants for not being able to hang with the Explorers...
Raves for having the means to at least see what is going on...
Humor for discovering a misweave.
To bed...

In no particular order:
- Aerys, for always showing up when I need her and taking care of shrine business I'm too exhausted to shake a finger at.
- Haiden - nono, seriously! He's a cool guy.
- Rivius, Lilian, Ashke, Enyalida and the rest of Serenwilde for practicing, getting better and, ultimately, not giving up. While (unfortunately) this isn't progress that can be measured by the POLITICS screen, I still remember a time where SEG and combat in general was full of 'Help, wat do', *flail* and *die*. There's still a lot of the 3rd, but hey, watching people grow and get better is really satisfying. No, seriously, it's turning MD noncom healers into toadcursing death machines. I love it.
- Ircria, part of the above and one of the main people who helped me sort it out.
- Hoaracle, for simply being chill and keeping things interesting.
- Prav's patience and helpfulness.
- Pre-Ama'Ruination Gaudiguch. I will miss thee, Illuminati.
- Mount Dio. Still one of my favourite areas in the game.
- Hallifax in general helping facilitate my 'take a break' phases. Woo, total lack of obligation and responsibility.

La'Saets are officially 'Lusternian'!
Unknown2010-11-14 18:30:17
Yeah, I was watching that! You made it big, Malicia!

Yes, yes they are.

It was actually quite fun. I rarely find myself interested when it comes to events, riddles and things. But this was one well done, well-scripted or acted and fun! My only regret is that I had to cut out early as the friend-brigade arrived to take me off to the movies. Unstoppable was a boring movie, btw.
Jack2010-11-14 18:42:16
Aw, really? I thought it looked cool
Malicia2010-11-14 18:42:39
Go see it, maybe you'll like it. I was bored...

A wood-panelled tower study overlooking the sky.
A spiral stair of rich wood ascends from a stairwell in the corner into an airy tower space. Wood-
panelled in cherry and mahogany, the tower room nonetheless maintains its cozy yet open feel due to
subtle aesthetic cues-- a slight slant in the walls, a faint parabolic curve in this panel, the hint
of an upward-pointing grain in that-- which lead the eye to the vaulted ceiling, high above in the
top of the turret chamber. The very point of the roof is surrounded by a ring of richly-colored
stained glass in abstract mandala patterns, coloring the shafts of light which slant down into the
workspace below. The floor of the study is cluttered with bookshelves placed against the wood
panelling of the walls and low mahogany tables bearing strange crystalline contraptions, replete
with iridescent pistoning rods and transparent flywheels, moving industriously in a way which
suggests some great purpose. The far wall is host to a broad desk covered in documents, both paper
and crystalline, books, and another important-looking device, this one depicting the planar spheres
of Lusternia. Arched windows surround the space, giving a view out into a bright, airy skyscape and
filling the room with natural light. Uuken Exley stands quietly here in a crisp black uniform,
awaiting orders.
You see a single exit leading down.

I have the Hallifaxian version of Dumbledore's office.

Nice job with the latest event post. I had written up a similar post for my own benefit, but the two or three details I missed were outlined in the post.

I'd still like to know how to find the new area
Is it even still accessible?

I don't care about the events, I just want to explore it. So, this post is absolutely 100% unhelpful and a complete non-answer.
Neos2010-11-15 04:01:00
I just mainly wanted to make a joke. The event post kinda says where to go. I honestly don't remember the exact room to start at. It's still accessible yeah.
