See HELP TOPGUILDS for an explanation of what this means.

We've been doing well in the rankings recently :D

Geez, seeing Shofangi at the bottom explains a lot for my experience in that guild. Which was pretty bad. :/ The difference between my time in Tahtetso right now and Shofangi is like night and day.
Enyalida2012-01-27 03:10:11
Yeah, Shofangi have always been totally empty. I always consider taking back up my Shofangi character (because seriously my second favorite character rp I've had) but always change my mind.
Unknown2012-01-27 03:24:05
Shofangi lacked a lot of things. Lore and rp to engage the novices into the guild was one of the biggest issue for me. We didn't even have much of a backstory compared to the other Monk guilds. And if we did, it died with the rest of the older members who disappeared before I joined Lusternia.

Also what's with the trend with Serenguard and Harstone being so low as well? And what are the Moondancers doing that keeps them third on the list? Which I have to say... is pretty darn impressive.
Casilu2012-01-27 03:38:26
I quite liked the Shofangi, but they were always quiet.

Serenguard have been small for a while, kept around the same number of "core" members since I started playing. Not necessarily the same people, but around the same figures. Hartstone, there were notably a lot more of them when I was fresher. By the time I was GA, there were periods when there were only four active members...the three leaders, and Lehki. Sad days.

I can't speak for the Serenguard, but as far as the Hartstone go, I think there was just a period there where nobody -wanted- to be a druid. Most of the prominent ones abandoned their druids for alts, or picked up and went to other guilds due to (I assume) the monotony and lack of fun.

Moondancers always seem high. Seems like just the lore keeps people coming if nothing else.
Casilu2012-01-27 04:02:32
Or maybe they just all a-door you. Huh? Huh?

They have very good novice-carers too, so have a decent retention rate.

Perfectly executed aetherflares. Woo Glomdoring!
Ixion2012-01-27 15:58:50
Lol.. not hard with no opposition pretty much :P Congrats nonetheless.

My warmth is now: bundled up.

Yay for serverside sipping! One more barrier to entry removed!
Well-implemented and intelligent too!

And fast.
Ssaliss2012-01-28 01:11:20
It's interesting that it isn't instantaneous, but rather delayed by what seems to be a semi-random time (sometimes my autosipper kicks in before the curing system, sometimes it doesn't). Probably nothing I'll rely on, since I've coded my own sipper, but it's an awesome resource; if I didn't have my sipper, I would use it.
Unknown2012-01-28 01:21:43
Extremely grateful for Iosai to get this done so quickly. Much gratitude.
Unknown2012-01-28 02:11:13
Wow, I'm loving Lusternia more and more every day. You really have some hard-working coders here. Never seen such anywhere else, as a matter of fact. Very well done on the system side autosipper. :)

That sounds so awesome, even though I probably won't use it

Can't use it in a system that handles deepwounds, from the looks of it (yet!) . Still, it's amazing and very helpful for newbie/novices!
Enyalida2012-01-28 03:39:48
I don't think it really has to handle deepwounds though! A basic firstaid based system could toggle on and off the autosipping based on wound levels if need be.
