You hear rustling and turn to see a curious dryad boy emerging from the undergrowth.

A curious dryad boy throws his hands into the air, opening them as he does so. From his hands, a tiny chime rings out, growing louder as a flintcap bug reveals itself and darts through the air.

Smaller than a pebble, the tiny flintcap bug is a creature made of dreams. With wings of pure light, he is constantly flickering colour and energy with a soundless crackle. The bug constantly fiddles with his legs, which elicits a chiming whistle that is surprisingly soothing to the ear. A beetle-like carapace protects the bug's tiny body, itself enshrouded in dreams and nightmares.
A flintcap bug looks relatively helpless.
He weighs 1 ounce(s).
He is loyal to Hoaracle, the Forest Dreamer.

The pet bit is without real precedent.

So as long as A) that IS the precedent set for similar incidents in the future and B) He got refunded his dingbats, it all comes out in the wash.

I guess it depends how obvious you are about it. If you're savvy and surreptitious, I bet you could slip it under the radar!

I was more thinking an all out exact clone, just customised in the parts that are already randomisable. Like say, I'm not a druid and never intend on beccoming one, but want a stag beast.

I think you would have a hard time of getting them to give you that.

Uhhhrm... well, don't take me as gospel, but I think you could probably get it through. (Though probably not if you just c&ped a Hartstone stag description, complete with inherents.)

Inagin got a dog pet that's like, exactly the same as his other dog, so I don't know about that.

Well, there are some cases like Inagin's that suggest you can pretty much do anything you want. However, remember some inherents are unique to the skill itself (not sure if the Hartstone stag has one like this, but I know the geo wyrm has a stronger breath for example), so you won't be able to copy all beasts 100%.

It was also just an example, I don't necessarily want a stag XD. But back on track rave: almost close to getting bodyguard in beastmastery!
