You can't put a rune on an unenchanted figurine.

Then if you leave it blank, you should be able to sculpt it at a later date, rune or no. Once you sculpt it, you're stuck with it.

You can still imbue esteem into uncarved figurines though, you just won't be able to battle them to level them up.

The change to ephemeral and supernumerary seems like a really well designed and implemented change. Some of the point values may need (and will perhaps get) tweaking, but the concept is a great improvement. (Too bad we're still using the word "supernumerary" for it; still seems like it's not the word that was intended. "Ephemeral" though seems even more appropriate than it was.)

Lehki, it's possible that your bug may have already been being fixed before you reported it, which means a short turnaround time for you. Or we just have speed bugfixers. Both are equally possible!
