Doing those magic-square Xion-type puzzles when you're basically passing out from exhaustion is not easy, especially when you've been looking for one item for two hours straight, but we did it. And it feels good.

I was in Celest, so I have learned to not really log in during events. It has served me well.
That's a Celest specific thing though. And they're the good guys. The good guys are designed to suffer until the end. The problem with Lusternia and good guys is that the bad guys are also allowed to win.
Jack2010-12-15 06:10:21
Celest aren't really the good guys from an OOC perspective. More like the gooder guys. (They do tend to get the shaft a lot, though. Yow!)

At least they're not Glomdoring.

Jigan is as Hallifaxian as I am.

I find it weird how so many nutjobs have ended up in Hallifax, actually. I always figured I'd end up in Gaudi. (And I confess, I still find the Illuminati tempting!)
Unknown2010-12-15 15:09:27
I've been fighting the temptation myself. Something in Hallifax just lends itself to an awesome sort of demented.
Llesvelt2010-12-15 15:23:12
The eccentrics are seeking contrast, I think.
Because it is more interesting that way.
Well, I think so myself, anyways, I tend to act much stranger in the open when the people around me are more "normal".
EDIT: It could also be the fact that as long as you are somewhat brilliant, eccentricism is overlooked in Hallifax, to some degree.

After a few sixpacks of clones, the defects start kicking in.

You guys are really going to start ticking someone off if you keep talking about how happy and fun and unique Hallifax is.

It is our subjective interpretation of the current atmosphere in Hallifax.

You realize that as a kid, I had a 3 and a half foot tall Sonic Cardboard cutout in my room that I won in a contest from Babbage's, right?

Awesome. Haha, I was kind of obsessed with Sonic as a kid. Sonic 2 on Sega Genesis was the first console game I ever played, so I kind of got ultra attached to the whole thing. I used to wake up ridiculously early on the weekend to watch the Sonic cartoon, etc, and I got a Dreamcast just so I could play Sonic Adventure. And Marvel vs Capcom 2 but I sucked at that game.
Of course, these days I've sworn to never buy another Sonic game again, ever since I played Sonic Heroes and kind of went "yeah this, I give up on you, Sonic".
